Great set of minis on a budget
Summary: This particular set has great artwork and a good selection to get started playing with minis. Spending a little extra care and time in prep, will result in a perfectly functional set of flat minis at an affordable price. A cheaper set for mobs of monsters (for example, when you need 10 skeletons) or that monster that a party will rarely encounter, is a fantastic option, and I will be buying more from Arcknight for this purpose.Specifics: Like many have said, there are some issues getting the minis "punched out" of the sheets, but having read the reviews, I took a little extra care and have not torn a single one. They do not fall out of the sheets with slight pressure, as the ones from Skinny Minis, to which I am a subscriber, and may even require a bit of knife work in the corners. Be particularly cautious around the corners and do not force them. I found that starting to push out on the long side and working my way around the mini to the bottom (where the sharp corners are) worked best. After making it around the corners, folding it at the groove before separating it from the mini it is attached also helped. The sheets do come bowed, but I found that the after separating them and putting them in the bases, this was a non-issue. That being said, they are roughly the thickness of a playing card, not cellophane thin as I saw one person describe them, but certainly much thinner than what you would get from Skinny Minis. They function much the same, however, and I can't say that they do the job any worse than their more expensive competitor. The plastic bases have a nearly invisible bit of plastic in the groove that has to be pushed out before inserting the mini. It'll probably take a few before you develop the knack for this, and you'll need something very thin. I think I used a utility knife blade. Once you get enough pushed out to get a fingernail on, they pop right out. The care needed in "punching out" the minis and prepping the bases makes them a bit more time consuming, but that is to be expected from a cheaper product. As others have said, I would love to see them come with more bases, but as Skinny Mini sets don't come with any bases (have to be ordered separately), having a decent number of bases come with the set is also a money saver. Unfortunately, Arcknight's package of additional bases is currently out of stock, but I went ahead and ordered for when they have more available. In closing, while I love my Skinny Minis, and will continue with them, I will be ordering more of these from Arcknight to serve as the bulk of my mob/rare needs.

A good option for filling the gaps in your mini collection
I was skeptical when I got these, but they do look good when they're standing on a base. The double sided art definitely gives the illusion of a 3d figure.I'll always prefer actual minis, but they are expensive and time consuming. If you need a bunch of mini types you don't have for an upcoming game, this is a great option to go for.Only negative I have is that they should really give you at least twice as many bases. It only comes with 8, and if you're looking to field an army of mooks for your party to cut through on their way to the BBEG, one of the main things these sets are really good for, it's just not enough. It's a relatively minor complaint, though, on the whole I definitely recommend these.

Great addition to game night.
My friends and I just recently started playing D&D again. We play at my house and I donโt really have space for miniature storage. These are a huge space saver and they are top quality. The art and colors are great and quite a variety of different minis: ranging from rats, to all the races to dragons and giants. Also they work great on 1โ grid map boards. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to supplement their gameplay.

Potentially great product depending on what you're looking for
Pros:Very easy to store/add to a collection without taking up space.Lots of variety in the creatures represented.Great for tabletop play.Cons:Thinner than I was expecting.Only 8 bases included so that is the amount you can use at a time.Overall a great product for a tabletop campaign, I bought these for Curse of Strahd to help beef out the encounters and add variety, good value considering the amount of pieces provided.

My boys love them
I have 11-year old twin boys who are completely immersed in all things D&D. They love these figures. I had to order extra bases, which Amazon didn't have. I went straight to Arcknight and expect to receive them soon.

Way better than I expected!,
This is such a value for a beginner DM. I want to start duet sessions with my 8 year old daughter and I knew I needed to get some visuals to make it exciting. But buying all sorts of mini figures would have broken the bank. Then I stumbled across these. And when I got them they were WAY better than expected. I saw some reviews complaining about offset mis-printing and inferior quality. Well I have to say they are dead wrong. All the printing I can see is flawless, and for the sheer number of monsters and villains you get you canโt go wrong. I mean yeah could they be better? Well not for this price. Worth every Penney. I donโt understand any negative reviews on these unless there was some real error in printing or some major quality control problems. But the ones I got were essentially perfect. Boy am I glad I found these and highly recommend!!

A less expensive alternative to metal miniatures
I have been playing D&D for over 30yrs now and for most of that time I have used standard plastic and metal miniatures. Unfortunately I lost a large portion of my miniatures in a move a few years ago. Recently I decided to start playing solo D&D since most of the group I used to play with have moved on or are no longer interested in D&D. I saw ArcKnight's ad on Amazon and decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised by their product. The images are very clear and "cool" looking, with both a front and back to each image. The images themselves are imprinted on clear plastic and once inserted into the clear plastic bases they appear to be actual characters and creatures from D&D. Their product solved one of my biggest problems with metal miniatures... painting them. These are literally pop and stick with very little prep work and no painting. That said the only issue I had was getting the plastic images into the bases. It takes a few minutes to get the hang of inserting them but once I learned the trick to doing it.. things went much smoother. And you can't beat the price. So yes, I am enjoying my purchase and will probably be buying more sets.

Water proof, stury, scratch resistant an flat packing for travel!
These minis are sturdier than I thought. Value is pretty good. Quality is nice. Colors are vibrant and look great on the table.

just so good
Having bought so many different minis and scenery over the years these are just so fun and cool, they take up less space, look AMAZING, and are just so well done, and super fun to take out of their sprues for those who care about that.
