Comfort and customization at a fraction of the cost
I purchased these controllers as an extra pair so that should I need to send my Joycons in for repair, I would have a good backup pair. These joycons do not disappoint! The grip was shockingly comfortable when attached to my Switch and I found that they're very easy to hold and handle. The buttons respond very well with no lag between button presses. The triggers are also very accessible and respond very well to input. They also have a satisfying click on press so I found myself enjoying that a bit. After playing a few casual games of Tetris 99 as well as a more controller intensive game, Mortal Kombat, I found these controllers to be a very suitable fit for when I may need a backup pair of joycons. I may just use these regularly anyway. One caveat I must note is that these controllers are very bulky and because of this, will not fit a standard Switch carrying case. You'll either need a bigger case or you'll have to detach and store the joycons separately.Overall, for the lower cost of these joycons, you'd swear you were getting a higher cost quality item. Would recommend.

Great Nintendo Joycon Replacement
The media could not be loaded. I had to write this review because I was surprised by these. First, when you slide these on the Switch, snap feel isn’t the exact same as the original joycon, but it’s fine. HOWEVER... these feel very snug, which is awesome. There is no wiggle once installed. They feel so nice and snug as if it’s one solid unit like the Switch Lite. You don’t feel like these with break off from the body of the Switch; love that. Next, the buttons. All the button presses feel good. I love the feel when you press ZL and ZR. L and R are a bit clicky and kind of louder than I would have liked. ZL and ZR were softer to me. A, B, X, Y are fine, no complaints there. I need to point this out; although you don’t press them often, I loved the fact that + and - are actual buttons on this than being their shape on the original joycon. Home and screenshot work fine.DPad and analog sticksThe analog sticks are great; they have good travel and don’t feel cheap. I think I like them better than the original joycon sticks. They seem a little, just a little taller. The button press with each stick is fine too. Now the DPad. Okay, so the DPad is better than the joycon because there is none on the joycon. So if I had to choose, I would pick the one here. However, after using the Hori DPad for Switch, Hori trumps this one a ton for me. This one feels like they just put a DPad over top of the joycon buttons and each direction press feels like an actual button press; again, very clicky. Hori feels softer, kind of how the ZL and ZR button feels on this controller which is perfect. Also, it is hard to pull off diagonal presses. Other than that, the regular direction presses work so not a deal breaker at all.The rumble feature is like normal rumble. It seems like there is just a medium level or high level rumble; no intricate rumble like the original joycon. Nothing to shout about there. And I did not try out gyro or the turbo buttons. But it’s great that they are there. Haven’t had them long enough to determine battery life.ClosingThe fact that these controllers are bigger than the joycon to give better grip, has a DPad, Gyro, great button feel, great analog stick feel, can be used detached from the Switch and has additional features like turbo and a way to set consecutive button presses, all at only $40.00, makes this an EASY recommend. I started to have drift on my right joycon and a year ago I had drift on my left joycon which pushed me to get the Hori DPad. I could use the Hori on the left and this on the right, but the shapes of the controllers are different and would be odd. The DPad on this is good enough so I’ll manage. Again, only 40 bucks. If you are on the fence, get off the fence and grab it. I think you won’t be upset you did.Update as of 02/22/2021Still going strong. No issues at all. No drift or anything. Still haven’t tried the other features like turbo and stuff. Only thing that I still don’t like is the clicky L and R button and the clicky D-Pad. I just wish they all felt like the ZL and ZR buttons. But they all still work fine. Thinking abt grabbing a second pair just as a back up. Still recommend. Also, I have not charged these since I bought them and I would say I pick up and play my Switch at least every other day on average at about 1 to 2 hours at a time. Solid buy.Update as of July 12, 2021Nothing more to say other than I’m still using them and have had NO issues at all.

Amazingly Affordable Alternatives!
A few weeks ago, I sent my original Joycons in for repair due to drifting. As a temporary replacement, I bought these seeing its relatively great rating compared to other 3rd party Joycons. I am now writing this review with confidence that the rating is pretty well-deserved, and I can honestly use these forever (that is, until I need to go to a Smash tournament — don't bring custom macro controllers, kids). As previous reviews have pointed out, one of the key features of these controllers is that they are way easier on the grip due to filling your hands. I can definitely play for longer periods of time with these as opposed to the normal Joycons. I also appreciate some of the smaller nuances such as concave joysticks. I don't have enough experience or an exact planned use for the Turbo and Macro functions to form an actual opinion on those, sadly. On paper, they can save you in input-heavy situations, though note this is a form of cheating on games like Smash. As for negatives, the larger size might be inconvenient to some — I cannot fit these into my normal Switch case which were designed to fit the console and the default Joycons, for example. Additionally, unlike the normal Joycons, you can't fire up the Switch wirelessly simply by holding the Home button; instead, you have to use the Power button on the console itself, which can be a bit annoying to get used to. I also wish these fit the default Switch wrist straps (the ones you see in the picture are third party ones I bought specifically for these replacements) and came with NFC (this is pretty important if you use Amiibos regularly but aren't planning on fixing the official; Joycons yet).Honestly, however, the positives far outweigh the negatives I pointed out, to the point where I think these make for great regular-use alternatives.
