This works the same as the original and there was a battery already in the remote.

The device stated on line that it was compatible with my bose Sound-system series one. But no matter what I did, it did not work. I am returning it for money back. Plus, none of the information written on the package was in English so I don’t think I got the right remote. Please return my money thank you. I am returning the remote.

Works great

The remote seems to work perfectly, but it definitely feels a lot different… Cheaper than the original. The material over the buttons feels very thin as compared to the original remote. But overall a good low cost substitute if you lose the original.

Llego en tiempo estimado, el control es igual que el original y quitando el plástico de la batería funcionó perfectamente. Ciertamente algunos botones se sienten un poco más frágiles pero casi no se nota la diferencia. Igualmente el uso que le doy a la bocina no es muy intenso y para mis necesidades el control las cubre sin problema. . Costo beneficio razonable.

Convenient and good quality

The product arrived without a battery. On the remote it said "see instructions for battery type". There were no instructions. The battery type was etched in to the remote, CR2032, which is quite a common battery. Inserted it both ways. No response from the Bose player. I suspected it would not work since the Bose web site has a replacement remote for $70 or so, but I was hopeful.
