Lovely book
I love this book! We had it as a reading at our wedding. We bought this abridged version for a friends baby gift. He loves it, even though he is only 7 weeks. There's a black and white spinning circle on one of the interactive pages which he can stare at endlessly. It literally makes his eyes cross. A good chunky sturdy book suitable for a very young child which tells a lovely tale about life and its ups and downs.

Great and wacky value for money
Created from Dr. Seuss's stories and drawings, these very simple flip-the-flap books are a great hit with my toddler. If you are a Dr. Seuss fan, this is great value for money. If you aren't a fan of Dr. Seuss's wacky approach, don't get this. Note that these aren't original books by Dr. Seuss, but compilations by others. The stories have Dr. Seuss's distinctive rhythm and rhyme. My toddler loves that he has so many to choose from too. The flaps have held up remarkably well despite all the attention these books get.

Brilliant
My 2yr old son had these for his birthday and he loves them & my 4yr old loves them too- the colours/rhymes are great and as expected with Dr Seuss not the "norm" lift the flap book- which makes it brilliant for kids and adults

Great Dr Suess
This wacky collection of 'flip the flap' books are great. My 11/2 year old loves them. They have simple clear pictures with rhyming text and lift the flaps on each double spread. Being card books they are great for little ones to explore by themselves without ripping the pages and the flaps really engage babies as they love to find out whats hidden underneath. This collection includes animals, numbers, weather, shapes, senses, opposites, colours and dizzy days.Great fun, great value.

Seuss wouldn't be proud
You're never going to get a great book recycling material after the author's death - I'd have preferred the unabridged.
