Decent little kit
This is one of the smaller repairs I've ever done, but with the supplied tools it went very smoothly. My earbuds are now back to lasting more than 10 minutes. The only thing I'd avoid is using the metal pry tools - can easily scratch the plastic. Easier to heat the earbuds a bit (with a heat gun or maybe even a hair dryer would do) and give them a little squeeze with a vice/clamp (wrap the earbuds in something soft to protect the coating) before sliding the plastic pry tools in.

Not as Advertised
They make a big deal about these being 2024 upgrades in the product description. The main selling point being the new mAh rating of 75 as opposed to 70mAh. They are infact only 70mAh, no mistaking, it's written on the battery. I have used the 70mAh ones before, so I know they work, it's just that they are not as described. The 75mAh would be better. I saw in another 2 star review for this that somebody else had also received an underrated set of batteries, not ideal. Edit one week on: On reflection and in the interest of fairness. I bought this kit last year and kept the tools after fitting the batteries. The batteries one year on are still working. The tools in this year’s kit are improved. Last year’s kit included plastic tweezers, which sensibly are non-conductive but just too flimsy to be of any practical use. The kit I received this year provides metal tweezers, with which you need to be more careful but are actually functional and the plastic plucks provided are now chunkier. If you are careful when changing the batteries you might be able to reuse existing adhesive but if not, glue is required but not provided. The kit does however work, the tools and batteries are fine, hence it would seem fair to up the rating. That said, had I known the batteries were the standard and more common 70mAh, then I would likely have just bought the batteries on their own or another kit (one that includes glue). So, it’s up from two stars to three but still two off for a misleading description and the omission of glue.

Misleading product description.
This product page clearly advertises a pair of 3.85V, 75mAh (0.29Wh) batteries, sold as part of a kit intended for repairing Sony WF-1000XM4 headphones. Accurate battery specifications are critical for this repair, as the headphones and their companion app rely on specific battery parameters for proper functionality. However, the batteries I received were rated at only 70mAh. This discrepancy affects both the battery life—reduced by approximately 7%—and the accuracy of the charge level reported by the app, which from my understanding expects a 75mAh battery. It is unacceptable to advertise precise specifications and then deliver a product that does not meet them. ‐-‐------------------------------------------ EDIT POST REPAIR: I have now carried out the repair on my headphones, and ended up using these batteries despite my concerns above. Battery life is much better, and the app does seem to report battery life accurately despite the concerns I voiced above. To test the batteries, I listened to 2 hours of music with AAC codec, DSEE Extreme off, noise cancelling on. the headphones used 22% of their battery in this time. The specifications from Sony state that they should last up to 8 hours under these conditions on a whole charge, so I feel these batteries are within normal limits for a new headset. I still think it is unacceptable to advertise technical specifications and not deliver them, but ultimately this product has done the job adequately that I am happy to revise this review.
