Its a good read. Its quiet brief and to the point
Its a good read. Its quiet brief and to the point. Although as rightly pointed out by one reviewer and by the authors own confession its a little too shallow

Better books out
Short and basic. Not much else. Better books out there

Common sense mixed with Unscientific pop psychology
First, this book took me all of 45 minutes to read (and I'd only consider myself an average speed reader). So if you're looking for something substantial, keep looking. Having minored in psychology only, I am not an expert in the field, but do know that much of what is discussed in this book (types of learning, NLP) have been called into question if not outright discredited in the past 10-15 years. The rest of the book might be useful if you have never done any reading about social engineering or negotiating skills, but most will be common sense. The author acknowledges this in the intro, but cops out by saying that it is a unique collection and the rest of what he knows is classified. Nice try, but I could have found any number of internet pages that would have given me the same amount of quality information in several paragraphs as were put into 55 pages here. There are also a number of typographical and grammatical errors, and in general the text does not flow. So in summary, if you can get this book for a couple bucks and have no background in the topic, it might be a good primer. But for $10 and a career HUMINT author, I expected a LOT more.

Not worth paying for
This is basically a rip off of the Army doctrine from 20 years ago with no new information or any good application principles, examples etc.
