NZXT C650 - NP-C650M-UK - 650 Watt PSU - 80+ Gold Certified - Hybrid Silent Fan Control - Fluid Dynamic Bearings - Modular Design - Sleeved Cables - ATX Gaming Power Supply

After running tests on my previous PSU and realising it was desperately in need of replacing, I decided to do a deep dive into what was currently the best available at an affordable price point. Long story short, I came to the conclusion that my best options were either a corsair PSU or this lovely C650 from NZXT.I've owned many NZXT components before and they have always been of extremely high quality and have very long guarantees. So with my trusted experience using the brand's products, I figured I'd further it by investing in one of their PSU's.As with all of their products, it arrived excellently packaged. Inside the main box, the power supply itself is packaged within protective foam, while the cables come separately packed in a very nice zipped case (which will be handy for storing the currently un-needed ones).The power supply feels like its made of very good quality materials and has that beautifully reassuring weight to it, I believe its around 2KG.Worth noting, this PSU has a silent operation button on the back, that when enabled, let's the PSU manage its own fan according to temperature. So you can have it effectively silent for normal operation (it will kick the fan on itself if ever needed). I've been using my computer with this feature turned on for the power supply and the difference is definitely noticeable (in a good way!) the difference in noise levels that it makes when having the PSU running silently.I've been monitoring it for stability since installing and it blows my mind how much more stable this is than my previous PSU's.I monitored it during benchmarks, stress tests, overclocking etc. And I have to say it's performing exceptionally!As far as I'm aware, this 650w model is capable of running upto an RTX 3070, so if you've got a RTX 3080 or higher you will obviously need a higher capacity power supply than the 650w C650.For me it's currently handling my overclocked Ryzen 5600x, my RTX card, 4 sticks of high performance DDR4, my NZXT liquid cooler, and all the fans absolutely beautifully.I'd thoroughly recommend this PSU and its series of power supplies from NZXT.

Although I've not owned many PSU's, I have to admit there's a lot of fancy packaging with this product! Aside from everything being secure and tight, there's a small zip up bag that's akin to a wash bag, purple with the NZXT logo. As I might get funny looks bringing it on a trip to store dental supplies, I'm currently using it to store all the bits and bobs from building my PC and this bag has been very handy as oppose to storing it in rattling boxes.With the product itself, I have no qualms with it, I've only been using it for 2 weeks, it seems to work fine. Temperatures seem good. The output powers everything that I need.I've owned a modular psu before and the cables are pretty much the same, fairly flexible and all the ends were all intact. It is a quiet PSU from what I could tell too! The price was perfect too.It's ranked A Tier on the NZXT C-Series on Linus Tech Tips, so that's what also pushed me to buy it. I'd likely buy another one if I had to make another PC.

Despite its weight which made my pc a lot heavier, this power supply is absolutely brilliant, the 0rpm fan button in the unit itself is a blessing to make for an absolutely silent system when paired with a AIO water cooler for your cpu and is especially brilliant when using your computer to watch videos on streaming services.as well as this, it has a very large number of data power cables which was such a good upgrade from my old Corsair powersupply which had 3, i now have all 6 of my case fans connected up along with my 2 hard drives and 2 SSDs which I’ve never been able to do before.

I bought this PSU for a budget build I was putting together for a friends birthday, for the price this power supply is great. Zero RPM mode, plenty of SATA and PCIE cable ports and comes really well packaged. 80 Plus gold is a tick in the positive column too.The only criticism I have (for the price) are the cables… they have plenty of length and are good quality but they have long pieces hard plastic sleeving on the motherboard end resulting in very unattractive cable management as these sections WILL NOT bend so you end up with excess cable showing – on balance, still good value and a good product.

Very nice PSU. I set it to have the fan running at all times and it’s extremely quiet. Very reliable operation running 5900x/2080ti. Some complain the cables are too thick. I think they are fine and comparable to any other PSU I’ve built with. I like the included case for all the cables! Btw, mine did come with 2x 8 pin CPU power.3 months later: the fan is making a whinge sound. Disappointed.

The NZXT C850 was nice and easy to fit, the cables included are great and a good length. Fits my power requirements though :) first time going for something not Corsair but I've not been left disappointed. The fan is actually very quiet which is more quiet than i expected. I would completely recommend it.

I bought this product about 2months ago and unfortunately it happens that the cable that is included cannot be used in Europe without an adapter.Shall I buy a new cable or use it with an adapter?

I have been using it from a year. It was working perfectly but yesterday pcie slot from psu got burnt and also it has burnt the pcie cables.. Anyone know how to claim warranty?
