This is a great little set, considering the price. I bought this for occasional personalization of leather items. I think if you order this understanding that it won’t be top-of-the-line, you’ll be satisfied. It doesn’t have the features of some nicer sets, like labels on the bottom with the letter/number, or indication of the stamp orientation. But with only a couple of exceptions all the stamps work well on leather. The W stamp is a little faint...but the set also comes with an M stamp, which works just fine and could be subbed for a W. The set comes with an ampersand (&) stamp, which I didn’t expect, but it is also the least readable of all the stamps. Since I wasn’t expecting it, I don’t really care that it doesn’t work. Like other reviewers it was shipped to me in an envelope, which I agree doesn’t make sense, but it arrived intact so I don’t mind. The storage box is flimsy, but this set is so cheap that I don’t know why people are expecting more. They did come greasy but you just have to wipe them off with a rag. Overall, if you manage your expectations, you’ll be satisfied. I’d say if you need this for professional purposes or will be using it regularly, you’ll need to spend a bit more money. But for very occasional users who don’t want to spend a lot (like myself), this is perfect.

I purchased this set to make a new VIN plate for my utility trailer. The old one was a sticker that was faded and peeling away. Before use I wiped the oil off & oriented the characters in their correct position then painted them white on one side so I would know I was holding them correctly before stamping. I used a piece of aluminum flashing for the plate. It worked best if a soft wood like pine was used as the base. I am very satisfied with these stamps. They are large but I wanted my VIN number easy to read.

Punches are good quality. The box they came in is broke and coming apart.

Perfect. Really wanted a wood burning set, but this is the next test thing andI a lot cheaper. If tapped gently, the impression on wood is readable. Quite heavy and solid.

My husband makes knives and he uses this set to label them. This set is a very high quality. Works very well for the steal. We are very very satisfied with this product. I would buy them again and would recommend anyone to buy this product. The seller delivered them quickly. In only a few days I had them. Thanks for a great product. I do a lot of leatherwork and wanted something to make legible and consistent markings for names and quotes on my goods. These were not what I was hoping for, though I like the heftiness. The letters are prominent, but it is very difficult to get the depth you want without also seeing the edge of the tool itself show up in the leather. Instead of getting that extra impression, I hammered the punch in less, but it didn't look as neat or last as long. Also, very difficult to get lined up one to the next, but of course that is more of user error. Overall, good value, but I won't be using them in any more projects, unless paired with woodburning to make the letters stand out without extra impressions.

Needed this product to stamp the identification number (VIN) on my new trailer as provided by the DMV. It was either pay someone $20+ to do it, or buy this stamp kit for $12.55 and do it myself. Biggest concern, reading other reviews (of similar items), was the size of the letters/numbers. These are truly 1/4" in size. Pictured are my initials I also placed on the trailer.

While the punches are just fine it was missing the letter G which I reported. Still no resolution. In order to find out if you have everything you have to rearrange all the letters and numbers in order to find out if everything is missing. Strange thing is that the box is full, no spaces. In order to have the G you must have to use the Number 0 as the letter O then there would be one less spot for the missing G. If I don't get the missing G I will have to work around the problem.
