I liked the fact that these glue sticks can be used for different heat settings and that the directions on the package explain what surfaces require what temperature in order to hold properly. I would definately recommend them if you need something to stick properly. The handle on my oven door broke off and could not be screwed back on. I tried other hot glue sticks and when I cooked in my oven it would remelt the glue and the handle would fall back off. I used these glue sticks and have used the oven many times now and this glue did not remelt and the handle is still staying on.
