The original battery from my Roomba 650 lasted over ten years, being used almost daily. It has aged with me and I hardly noticed that it was slowing down and sometimes having difficulty finding the dock. Finally, it would only run for a minute and then completely stop, requesting to be charged. I performed all the diagnostic tests before determining that the battery was truly dead. I wasn't confident that I could find a good replacement battery and contemplated buying a new roomba. Not wanting to abandon my long-time, reliable and industrious companion, i took a chance and ordered this inexpensive battery replacement. Four screws opened the back cover, enabling me to easily remove the old battery and install the new one. Still wary, I charged it overnight. The next morning, I sent it on its trial run. It was an amazing sight to see. It was back to its original speed , zipping around the house. It lasted a long time. It had no trouble finding the dock. It is now helping me with a thorough clean. I've been moving all furniture, so it can slip behind and do its usual, wonderful job. It's working like it is brand new. I am thrilled. As you can see, it is battle-scarred from overwork and mistreatment, like me. I hope we have many more years together. I will report back in six months to let you know how we are both doing.

These batteries worked well but after 11 months they are down to 20 minutes of vacuum time. 2 batteries in 2 different Rumbas. Not good enough Note: the company read my review and contacted me. They sent me out 2 new batteries to replace the ones I bought. Changing to 5 stars. This is a quality company that actually cares about their customers. Great job!!

Good and cost effective va buying a new iRobot. Only lasts about a year, works twice a week and one room only.

I had a Roomba that I admittedly never used for years. I finally moved into a new home a little less than a year ago and decided to finally set the Roomba up. Unfortunately, every time I ran the Roomba it would go for about 45 minutes then die and say "Please charge Roomba." It made no sense to me, as I read the Roomba was supposed to dock if it sensed it had low battery. I thought there might be interference from objects or the dock was obscured or the sensors were broken. I was ready to give up when I decided to just try to replace the battery and see if that worked. And wouldn't you know it, that fixed it! The Roomba now finished its jobs and docks no problem. Sometimes the Roomba will get stuck, but never because of battery issues (mostly getting stuck under furniture). This was an excellent product that is still running strong a few months after purchase. Even if it stops working it was well worth the cheap price I paid.

My old battery lasted about 10 minutes and I had tried to buy a new one a couple of months ago from a different brand. I had returned it because there was not much improvement with only 15 minutes battery life. I gave it another try and bought this FirstPower for my Roomba 551 . I charged the battery overnight and put the Roomba to work but again, I was disappointed with only 20 minutes life. I then tried to reset Roomba as I had seen on the internet by pressing at the same time the spot and the dock button. I had read that after doing this, it needed to recharge for 72 hours, directly with the charger (not on the base). I left it for a whole week and then, tried it again. It was amazing, I thought it would never stop :) It lasted 1h45 minutes which is more than my original battery ever lasted. Hopefully, it will continue to work as well with use.

We got a replacement battery in February but this week I found poor Roomba in the middle of the living room 3 times already when I returned from work . It didn’t make it back to the charging base . Are these new or refurbished batteries? I thought it would last longer.

Charged all night. Wouldn't run my Roomba for an entire hour. Had to be returned. Update: the seller reached out to me and sent me a free replacement and so far works well! Great customer service!
