Fluance Vinyl Record & Stylus Cleaning Kit with 2-in-1 Anti-static Carbon Fiber & Soft Velvet LP Brush and Stylus Brush (VB52)

Now have read reviews saying that this isn't any good and bristles shredding but I've found it to be completely opposite. The velvet brush feels very soft and smooth and collects dust off the records nicely and the cleaning handle is solid and doesn't feel like it's going to fall off in your hands as you swing it around to clean the brushes, as for the anti static bushes the other side have noticed no shredding and at first they did feel a bit harsh but after a few sweeps they softened up did not notice any scratches across the record from this bush so no problems there and I have noticed a lot less static on my records from using this brush. And it comes with a little stand so you can put down knowing it's not picking up unwanted dust before you use it. I like the stylus brush as it has a decent handle to grip the bush, so no worries of it slipping out of your fingers like other brands that seem to give you a slim easy to slip around in your fingers handle. I fully recommend this product.

Great little tool - comes with a stylus cleaner too and is doing a great job of cleaning my records. Of course it isn't a sonic cleaner, but for the cost it is very effective. Looks smart too, with it's little stand!

Why did you choose this product over others?: Good price, good reviews. It does make a difference I have some pretty old records and I find this works better that any or those vinyl sprays. Unless u have actual soiling or finger prints then this isn't gonna help. It does a good job at reducing clicks and pops, its not a magic bullet but it certainly makes a noticeable difference. My only grip was one side of the brush has a few wayward bristles but it works OK so is really just cosmetic.

A good sturdy product does its job well

What I love about this record surface cleaner is that it is both a velvet and fiber brush in one. Before ever play, I quickly run the fiber brush along the grooves and then a quick shine with the velvet brush for dust. Although it is not a complete record cleaning solution, it is great for general maintenance.

Great brush set to clean off vinyls of debris before playing them. The carbon side of the brush keeps the records clean, and the small stylus brush is great for keeping the stylus lint free. The cloth side is not great at removing dust and debris from records, but is nice to have if you have an acrylic platter mat to keep clean.

The velvet brush is really perfect, soft, excellent and gentle cleaning of the phonograph records. Under the microscope, the fibers of the "velvet" are beautifully perpendicular and are dense and are fine thin, which is very good, but the carbon fiber brush is bad (or I got the wrong piece). The fibers fell out within a few days, so there are gaps in it, -the fibers looked on the phonograph records and were difficult to remove. So: half the product is great, the other half is flawed and can't be used.

Inside packaging was dirty, bristles started shedding as soon as i picked it up. Although the bristles were soft and seemed like they would be gentle on my vinyls, i’m not trusting enough to try it out because the shedding fibres could end up scratching my vinyls in the long run. Sending back

La parte de terciopelo permite limpiar un poco más profundamente el disco. El cepillo para limpiar la aguja, también permite quitar residuos fácilmente y sin maltratarla, claro, si se hace con cuidado. En general, estoy satisfecho con mi compra.

After buying a new Fluance turntable, you might as well have a great record cleaner, too. The item is simple, lightweight, and does an amazingly good job cleaning records. There are two sides, one that is velvet-like, and the other with soft bristles, plus a protective cover that rotates to one side or the other. It comes with a storage tray and a stylus brush. I used the tool to clean some records that I had last played many years ago and found my earlier cleaner had missed things. The bristles are a great way to remove any lingering debris and to ensure there is not a static charge on the vinyl surface.
