Excellent book detailing the spiritual and theoretical pieces of the Pencak Silat Pertempuran system.

We're talking about Southern-Asia / Indonesia here, not some American church. This book is part three of a series on Pencak Silat Pertempuran, and supposed to be covering the spiritual part. Unfortunately it covers the spiritual part as one knows it in various American Christian Jesus churches. Nothing about the way the Indonesian thinks about it, their mixture of islam, old traditional beliefs and so on. Nothing on warlord-ghosts, good ghosts, bad ghosts, bush ghosts, water ghosts, mountain ghosts, house ghosts etc. Nothing on the rituals one has to perform when reaching the higher levels within Pencak Silat - like fighting drunk, drinking chicken blood...No, one might as well buy a modern bible...Big dissappointment.
