I have no idea how the other reviewer is managing to pick his lock so easily. Either he had very easy bitting or isn't being entirely honest. As for opening without a key? No way!These locks are well known in the lock sport world as a lock filled with security pins and is great for practise. Both Spools, barrel and serrated pins. I've been trying all afternoon and not managed to open as of yet.Please look at Youtube reviews for a real break-down of this lock. It's a great alternative to an American lock and is actually a little more secure with 6-pins.

Stiff to operate, loves to swallow the key so you cant remove it again without some jiggling, unshielded core, ie I dont even need to pick it to open it without a key, in fact this is actually easier than using a key

Solid padlock with security pins, can't be bypassed and a hardened shackle. Great for a shed or similar low security application. For a 40mm padlock at this price (especially on sale at a tenner) its a great deal.Lockpicking; The reason I bought it, lightly serrated key pins with a few spooled drivers and an awkward keyway make this a fun challenge but fairly easy to open blind in a couple of minutes. Would be nice to see serrated pins or other security pins to increase pick resistance.
