Work Great & Last Long
Best flash drives I've ever had! I bought 2 of these several years ago, and to this day I have never had a single problem. The cap on it is amazing, and it fits on the end so you won't lose it. File transfers are fast, compatible with every device I've ever tried, and they are easy to carry around. They're a bit pricey perhaps, but 100% worth it based on the quality and durability. I don't really leave reviews, however this product deserves it.

Absolutely quality
It's one of the best products with proposed a r/w speed. While many other seller companies specify and a max theoretical speed, this one indicates the stated speed that's important for write activity first of all. Obviously, it's about seq r/w speed and these speed values are stable (not goes down after several GBs copied like others). Also, this flash driver has a small part ~230-250MB in the beginning, so if you formatted and made 1 volume you will and a fall of speed at first ~230-250MB. Anyway, among other 3.1 flash drives, this one is highly recommended

Great value for space and read speeds
I purchased three different flash drives and have a good comparison between them. The Arcanite drive is the best value for the storage space and form factor, but comes up short on speeds. Pros: Speed- Yes this is a fast drive...for reads. I was able to hit 250mbps easily and up to 300mbps at times. More about write speeds later. Form Factor- I like the sturdy feeling casing and design of this drive. It's nice that the cap snaps back onto the case while in use Storage- Great value for the amount of storage space you get. Cons: Speed- Write speeds would start out decent, around 150-200mbps for around 10 seconds. After that the drive would slow quickly to 50-70mbps for the duration of the write. I believe they have some form of high speed caching for the first few hundred Mb and then it can only write at the standard module speed. Formatting- Came formatted in FAT32, which is outdated and limits files to 4Gb, be prepared to reformat into a better filesystem. Overall this 128Gb drive was a good value and will suit someone who needs quick reads and higher than average writes. If you plan do to a lot of single writes and reads, like transferring some files for work or school, then you may be better off spending more money on a Sandisk Extreme go, which has writes almost three time as a fast, even though the reads are about 30% slower. Also, don't buy any drive with less than 128Gb as files are so large nowadays. *My review based on 128Gb model, which may have slightly slower reads than the large devices.

WOW! This is actually a working 1tb drive!
I've been burned several times trying to find an actual real 1tb thumb drive. This one is an actual 1tb drive. I've learned that the first thing you need to do is to try to fill the thing up at least 1/2 way. If you can do this and read back the data then you're golden.

Good PS5 External Storage Option
PS5 REVIEW!! We ordered this to use as extended storage for the PS5 since the m.2 port on the PS5 doesn’t work yet in the firmware. We had failed with a few other drives because the PS5 requires the drive used for external to be a min speed and many drives just did not cut it. This drive was easy to setup for this purpose and so far has worked great copying many of my larger games over to the drive successfully. For now, all I can say is that it works and the PS5 seems to accept it. The next test over the coming weeks will be to see how the games run on it and if there are any performance issues. We will update this review with those results once we have them.

Pretty impressive write speed: 101MB/s - but failed in second day
Update: I had ordered 3. I was using one on a mission ciritical backup. On second day it failed; taking down important backup on it. Windows suddenly said that the thumb drive needs formatting before use! (read: toasted). When I proceed by formatting (do I have any chance?); it then said "write protected"! (it doesn't have write protect switch)! So 1 out of 3 hits the garbage can. I'll be testing remaining 2 before I ever use them on an important task again. Impressive speed - but not so impressive reliability so far. ------------------------------------ Not only at this price-point, but even in much more expensive models you don't find such high speed write performance. Even the big brands don't have it. Order it while it's still available.

A Reasonably-Priced Flash Drive That Isn't As Fast As I Expected It To Be
I bought this ARCANITE 512GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive because it had reasonably good reviews, and the price was reasonable (compared to some of the competitors). I used a USB 3.0 slot on my computer to do the minor testing. I checked the size and found that it really is a 512GB unit. It really can hold that much data. Then I did a couple of tests involving speed, with considerations for file size. In the first test, I copied 5 movie files from my main drive to the empty ARCANITE. The overall size of the 5 files was 9 GB. The copy speeds ran steadily in the range of 90 MB/s to 140 MB/s with occasional spikes in either direction. Then I tried small files. It was hundreds of small MS Word and MS Excel and even pdf files, that all together added up to just about 1 GB. Once again, I copied the files from my main drive to the empty ARCANITE. The copy speed ran consistently in the range of 5 to 20 MB/s with very few spikes either way. I found the 5 to 20 MB/s rather disappointing, but overall, I'm happy with the ARCANITE performance with the larger files. Lastly, it's important to remember that, I was using a USB 3.0 slot. The ARCANITE is advertised as a USB 3.1 drive, so maybe it would have performed faster in a USB 3.1 slot.

A USB key that actually performs fast.
I purchased the 128GB version. Pros: It performs fast with both read & writes. I measured an average of 350 MB/s read over various size files. The write speed performs best with larger file sizes about 350-370 MB/s, with many files 1-5MB sizes the write speed was high for the first couple hundred MB then slowed to as low as 55MB/s. I never saw a speed less than 55MB/s to/from this drive. Well worth it. I will buy again if I need another one. Cons: Separate cap easy to misplace, but it does clip on with a positive click though. So not really bad. Many of the bulk USB keys say fast speed but only imply the read speed; that almost always means the write speed sucks.

Servizio amazon perfetto come sempre.
