Tin won't open(er)
When buying a load of housey stuff for my son who was off to uni I thought I'd renew my tin opener. I liked the idea that this one had replaceable blades. When I first tried to use it, I thought it was me being dim. Did it grip on the side? Was it one of those that go across the top? Eventually I seemed to manage it.Then my teenage daughter tried to use it. I took over....and again could not get it to work. The underside green bit had moved, the handle was loose...it was useless.I literally had to shake my chick peas one by one out of a tiny hole in the can.I may as well have used a pen knife like my dad taught me in the 1970s.

Really disappointed!
Initially i was very pleased with this opener - it was easy to operate and worked well. However, despite having used this only a few times it has now developed a problem rendering it effectively useless in that the handle has worked loose. The gears will now not engage at all, and therefore the handle cannot be turned. On closer inspection I can see that that that the gearing system beneath the handle now swivels round from its correct position, and the handle itself has lifted away from the main body of the opener.I am now of the opinion that this opener is badly made and of very dubious quality. I would certainly not recommend this product to anyone considering buying this, especially as I only purchased the can opener in July 2020!

Totally useless
I spent 15 minutes trying to open a round standard tin, I couldn't get it to grip, couldn't turn the handle at all and finished up with a tin of fruit slightly punctured.. I've returned it and am waiting for a different one to open the tin before it goes off. What happened to functioning can openers that didn't need the arms of Hercules. Useless.

Great multi-function tin opener
Very pleased with my new tin opener. Very solid build with smooth, comfortable handles and turning knob. The tin opener latches onto the tin edge very well and the large, smooth knob turns the blades easily. Having the glass bottle opener and the grips within the handle to open overtightened or slippery plastic bottle tops is a good and useful feature. It also comes with replacement blades x 2 so it will last a very long time (but at this stage no idea how long to expect the first blades to last before needing replacement - maybe never?)

4 in 1 Can Opener
Ergonomic aesthetically pleasing 4 function can-opener. This is a nice lime green kitchen utility that is simple to use and because it's made of food-grade stainless steel should not rust or break under normal use conditions. This should, in fact, last years. A really useful addition is that it comes with two spare blades (which I haven't seen with our previous can opener). get one if you want a very useful gadget in the house.

Left the opened tin with dangerous jagged edge
This was the worst can opener I have ever encountered. It is heavy and completely un-ergonomic. The opener has to be positioned at the side of the can and you have to force the turning handle round the rim. It leaves a jagged edge which is really dangerous and could harm someone badly. There are two spare wheels which come in the package. How one is supposed to fit these spare parts is not explained. There are no instructions. The product is not fit for purpose and I have returned it.

A nice to use/ hold opener
I originally purchased this to go in the caravan but as it is so good it is now indoors. nice and chunky, easy to handle, easy to turn opener. with the added bonus of having a bottle opener.

Looks better made than most of the Chinese junk on here.
I bought this to replace a previous can opener which lasted about six months. This one looks as though it may last a bit longer. Unfortunately most can openers on Amazon, like so much else, are cheap poorly made Chinese junk, so I'm not holding my breath.
