Playmobil Pirate Raiders' Ship

The quality and detail of this pirate ship is superb. The directions for putting it together were not difficult to follow. First thing we did to help us find pieces more easily was carefully pour out contents from each little bag onto separate dinner plates. And we used the whole dining room table to assemble. So give yourself a big work space and lay out all the pieces beforehand within reach. Also highly recommend assembling a couple weeks ahead so there's no pressure of the last minute rush and the mistakes that can result from that!! Once assembled, this is a beautiful ship. All the details work and the pieces all snap easily together. Our 4-year-old grandson was very enthralled by it, particularly the firing cannons. The finer details like the anchor were a little over his head, however, and I can't help thinking he'll be more ready to make the most of this ship by age 6 or 7. I love the Playmobil toys with their rounded edges better than Legos. Excellent workmanship. This big and sturdy ship rolls on the ground and floats in the water. It should last for years to come!! Well worth the money we spent on this!!

This is very popular for both my 5 and 2 year old. There are some seriously tiny pieces, but for what remains "loose" nothing of terrible importance should they get lost or be held for safety reasons. I actually built this for my son, to give Daddy a break after he assembled most Christmas presents. I don't hold my building skills in high regard, but this assembled quite easily. It was a little frustrating that similar pieces weren't grouped together (the bits to connect the sails are pretty much one piece per plastic baggy), but if you give yourself some space to spread out, it won't be a problem. Some of the pieces disconnect a bit frequently, but nothing major. For the most part, the pieces that disconnect can be put back together by the littlest kid. The cannon, obviously is a highlight, and the wheels on the bottom make it very easy to sail about the room. This was my first venture into Playmobil (an expensive first step, so I did sweat it a bit), but it's been a hit and I'm sure our collection will grow. I was very impressed with the construction and durability. My boys can be rough and this has held up super well so far. The figures are a great size; small, but not so small as to easily get lost. I can't compare it to other Playmobil sets, but it is leaps and bounds ahead my expectations for a pirate ship.

I know that pirates are rough and tumble but one of the pirates came without arms. The arms were included but we could not see any way to put them on. And they could have added a few more pirates for the price. There are only 3 included. Other than that my almost 4 year old grandson loves the pirate ship.

It's Playmobil. It's a pirate ship. It's BIG. Is there really anything else to say about this item?!Our son, and now our youngest daughter as well, are both obsessed with Playmobil. For Christmas our son got 3 different Playmobil pirate ships. He LOVES them. They have so many different figures and pieces that come with them. And get this... they FLOAT. For real. Float all day long, tub, pool, creek. Whatever. This particular one you can also put a motor on! Motor is purchased seperately... that will probably be our next purchase. I am very impressed with the quality of Playmobil products. We have rough farm kids, and these toys are farm tough! Beware, this thing is BIG. Very, very, impossible to shove into a toy box, BIG. His pirate ships have their own corner of the bedroom now. But oh how he loves them!

This pirate ship is amazing! My 3 old said he wanted a boat for Christmas and since he's been so into pirates lately we looked for a pirate ship. His face and excitement when he opened this on Christmas morning was so awesome! It is relatively easy to put together and he has been playing with it every day since. He loved it so much that we bought the island, hideout and castle fort for his birthday to make a pirate village. My boyfriend flipped his train table over and turned it into an ocean with a beach. These playmobil sets are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone! Well made and full of entertainment and enjoyment for my now 4 year old! I'm so glad I found these.

I can't say enough about these toys. My son received the ambulance, police car, and pirate ship for Christmas. Once he opened them, nothing else mattered. I've watched him take pirates to the hospital in the ambulance and arrest them on the pirate ship. The pirates have come back home "good guys" and now they're on the police sqaud. This is exactly what I hoped for! We are seeing that amazing, imaginative play that most toys available don't foster to.They weren't hard to put together. I set all 3 up in about an hour. The ambulance required no assembly. I made sure to assemble before wrapping them up so they would appeal to him immediately. I will without a doubt buy this brand in the future.

Great detail. My son is 2.5 and loves pirates right now. This floats in the tub with him and there are countless hours of imaginative play to be had here. The sails and rigging are well designed and are tough, also waterproof. No strings for the sails, they snap into place with a clever system. German design and quality.

This is one of the nicest toy pirate ships I’ve come across. My 3 year-old son loves it. Definitely takes an adult to assemble, but once together it appears relatively sturdy/durable. Highly recommend.

Esta genial este juguete me recordo mucho al que salio cuando era niño y por el cual lo compre ya que de pequeño no pude tenerlo y ahora que lo tengo ya hice una pequeña coleccion de barcos playmobils de la misma linea de piratas.

Cómo siempre, Playmobil es sinónimo de calidad. Un barco impresionante y además, flota muy bien!! Muy contento!!

Wer kennt es nicht,dass gute alte Playmobil Piratenschiff! Hätte nicht gedacht,das es da mal ein Wiedersehen gibt. Mein Sohn hat gut gestaunt und sich tierisch gefreut. Der Preis ist zwar ganz schön knackig,aber dafür hat man auch was für sein Geld. ( Wäre toll wenn es da mal irgendwann noch ein Geisterschiff gibt) Da werden eigene Kindheitserinnerungen wach! Schiff Ahoi ! :)

J'ai commandé ce bateau pour le noël de mon fils de 4 ans qui est fan de pirates.Le bateau nécessite un certain temps de montage de la part d'un adulte ou d'un enfant plus âgé.Il est vendu avec quelques accessoires et personnages. Il sera utile de le compléter avec d'autres petits sets pirates playmobils à des prix très abordables.Le bateau est grand et de belle facture. Mon fils était vraiment émerveillé et il passe depuis des heures à jouer avec.

Larger than expected but that was welcomed by the recipient. It's well-made and has plenty of potential for use in play. My only concern is how some parts will survive long-term e.g. the sails are made of a thick paper material but they have very small holes, very close to the edge, for attaching to the mast. They can be detached from the ship - and frequently are - but I am not sure how long they will last with 'regular' use before the holes break and they can't be attached any more. I think parts can be bought - I'm not sure how expensive they are.
