Core Footprints

This does fit under the core 9 person tent, however it is a simple rectangular shape and the tent is not. This leaves exposed areas of the footprint sticking out. Which is not ideal as if it rains, the rain will go between the tent floor and the footprint and you will inevitably have water in the tent. Overall it was a worthwhile purchase as a regular tarp was more expensive and even bigger than this, just be sure to tuck the excess under the tent if you’re expecting rain.

Obviously easy to throw down. Lightweight. But my favorite part is it made it easier to clean up the tent. I just lifted the edges for the dirt to go to the middle and swept it up. Definitely kept wear and tear from the bottom of my tent. Thankfully because I bought a very expensive tent.

I am not sure this is any better than using a normal tarp under the tent that is 1/3 the price. I don’t really see the value. Also, would have been cool if it had a bag.

One could cut sheet plastic to size as I gave done in past, but this footprint appears substantial and with tie down loops it stays in place. A bit pricey but worth it in long run.
