Because these are unisex sizing there's too much fabric that goes around the ache of the foot for women. I ordered this to wear with thin socks, nylons, to wear to work following tendon surgery.. This may work if your wearing with heavy socks and athletic shoes, but not with dress shoes, for business.

A bit too stiff so it cracks the material. Hard to get into shoes as a result.
Stiff to wear but does the job. Don't use it as often as other thinner versions I own.

This is a great design, well-constructed , and very supportive. It requires a bit of extra room in shoe and tongue of shoe may need removed or just leave standing up and out the way. Perfect for a wobbly ankle. This was not available in Oklahoma stores but prescribed by podiatrist, so I ordered from Amazon and received in six days. Worth the wait!!!
