Had doubts this tool would perform up to those featured at Home Depot, Lowes, ACE, etc.  But it arrived looking well-constructed, robust. Our first test was during install of our Google Nest doorbell, button of which had to be placed over vinyl siding. We had to surgically cut vinyl to clear top of doorbell cam/button. We were impressed by how this tool got its snout into the tight space and easily snipped vinyl. The compound leverage of the tool made cutting so easy-- right up to the tip of the snips! That's an important feature: it means that the tool will cut aluminum, sheet steel and other media without stress.

Very good quality - it's a strong cutter and cut through a metal strap with ease. My came with an oily substance around it (I am guessing to make the cutting easier), so I would recommend using gloves.

Sturdy product, bought it for cutting a wire mesh, cuts like cake.
