This book has inspired me that the promises of God are, in fact, pearls from heaven. As Mary Grace Birkhead points out in the book's introduction, "Pearls become more lusterous and colorful the longer they are worn...they richen with age...the closer you wear them and the longer you hold them the more beauty they will reveal". The passages in this book have inspired me to hold God's promises close to my heart and be changed by their power and grace.
