A fun romp through the solar system
This is the second book of Lou Baldin's that I've read, and I'm still reeling. I love his writing style, which is clear, easily understood, and humorous. Lou tells the story of a morning walk in the park that turned into a trip to Uranus. Hard to believe, but Lou tells his story with such understatement, that it's hard to believe that HE really believes it happened. The story starts off with Lou walking along a park he frequents when a man calls him by name. How the man knows him, Lou has no idea, but taking a chance, Lou talks to the man and after trying to run away from the strange fellow, Lou ends up onboard a small space ship and on his way into a magical journey. As it's been said, 'any technology too far advanced from our own will seem like magic', Lou can't believe what he sees. Port holes that can be moved around the ship, the ability to look straight at the sun with no harm to the eyes, but most of all, the speed at which the ship can travel.Ending up at Uranus, Lou observes a city that made of of floating rings that circle the planet drawing energy from the planet itself. It's a floating utopia except for the areas where the 'humans' work. Lou meets a man who volunteered to work on Uranus after being approached by an officer during the Viet Nam conflict. The man left earth during a battle and was listed as missing in action, though he's alive and well on Uranus.Lou learns that our souls are chained to our bodies by way of blood and after leaving his body for only 20 minutes, Lou never wanted to go back. He said it felt like being imprisoned to be back in a body. Lou meet family on Uranus, and learned that he is on assignment on earth. While it felt like a wonderful sic-fi/fantasy novel, it also felt real at the same time. I have no idea if it is, but what a fun read and I've bought more of Lou's book because there are a lot of spiritual truths in them that feel right.

A GOOD SCIENCE FICTION READ
I thought this book was a good read. However, it really seemed more like a script for a Science Fiction Thriller. I found some of it over the top, such as being so close to the sun, and not being affected, and barriers that shield planets from us. I would think that with all the probes we send to space, that they would almost surely be detected at some point. Other things I found hard to believe, is how they can make ships, etc. invisible. I really just felt like I was reading a good novel. The other thing that I found amusing was how lax Michael's wife was when he told her nonchalantly, that his reason for getting home so late was because he was abducted by aliens. He is a man in his 50's according to the book, and yet according to him, he made love to cyborgs at least 4-5 times, and went home and made love to his wife. Sorry, but no man in his 50's has that kind of sex drive.. I recommend this book purely for the amusement alone. It's up to the reader to decide whether they believe it or not.

Packs a Punch
You have come to the wrong place and the wrong book for a story that follows the typical UFO pop culture storyline. This book is not the usual UFO fare. This is totally an outlier perceptive of the whole UFO phenomena. It isn't full of self- congratulatory gravitas, or Hollywood style alien New Age narratives, or big multi-syllable words. It actually has humor and raises interesting questions almost more than it gives satisfying easy answers. It does not give you nightmares, but rather feeds your imagination. So forget the cattle mutilations, and freaky alien anal probes, and prepare for a different kind of presentation on the subject.And...it packs a punch. A wallop to your gut, and thump to your psyche that can only be described as electrifying, and certainly more revolutionary for this subject than any other UFO book out there now. Some people are going to struggle with this story, since it doesn't fit into the neat little pre-conceived ideological boxes that people have about what are UFOs, and what is an alien abduction, and Christ on a cracker, what is going on with all that hot mess. But if you are ready for a mind-bending flash of insight into the big questions of life, or just a peek into something beyond this fragile, pale existence, then buy this book, and see if the information resonates with you. This book does not give entirely clear answers, but it certainly makes me think, and gives me something I want and what I find really lacking in the UFO topic; it gives me hope in our stark existence, with unique and sharp insight.

A fun easy read, Two earthlike in many scenarios.
I purchased this for my kindle because Linda Moulton Howe was listed as a co-author. Linda is a ufo investigative journalist that I highly respect. The story has a nice surprise twist at the very end, Which I don't want to give away. The story raised questions that needed answering in much more detail. .

Really a great book to read and a quick read
Really a great book to read and a quick read. I learned about this book when a UFOlogist referred to is as one of the most important reads and even sited it as a landmark book. It is a record of a multi dimensional experiencer who transversed to a ship and was spirited away to the sun and Uranus. The conduct and abilities of his abductor Milton is key here and the ship and how traveling thru the worm holes works. Clearly space travel is not traveling thru this dense 3rd dim. Its an important read. I was have researched this stuff of as long as I am alive and in my 60s now. I never read books twice because my memory is sharp, but this one is so wonderful and gives lots of insight and I resonated with it as an experiencer myself. We don't know where we are taken or where were were when we find leaves from trees or grass bits in our beds in the morning. We are more than the life we we live in this world we see today. Read it! I answers lots of questions that Experiencers and Ufologist ask at the end of their documentry videos on YouTube. Like they say. Given this knowledge, or these facts, is it possible.... or, Could it be that they are ....? Give it a read it might give you some better grounding. I think this is how things really work.

Honestly...
The book starts great and straightforward when the author has an alien encounter with an extraterrestrial called Milton. Some of what the author describes seems true and I would have no pretense to contradict his experience. Indeed, it is plausible some phenomenum happened to him. From a certain point of the contact on, it seems the author loses contact with reality and what appears to be an abduction falls into the category of a psichic contact. Much of what he describes then is definitely unrealistic. The being describes himself as a spirit with billions of years old and states that he'll remain on earth until the planet extinguishes in another several billions of years. He visits on a UFO our planetary system and numerous events happen meanwhile, albeit they all seem to come from a far-fetched and rich imagination. I respect him for his honesty to expose himself to such extents but more evidence is needed to prove him right.

My first Lou Baldin book. Still not sure what ...
My first Lou Baldin book. Still not sure what to make of it, fiction? Fact disguised as fiction? A total fantasy to cash in on the UFO market? Another small piece of the intergalactic jigsaw.Yes: The Universe is a living conscious Being. Yes: It is populated with all manner of beings, humanoid and others. Yes: Earth is in quarantine until we can stop destroying ourselves and our planet. Yes: Aliens or Universals have been visiting us for eons and incarnating to raise the level of consciousness of humanity.
