Imaginative entertainment but unrealistic revelations
I find this book an entertaining piece of fiction, but an impossible documentary. If the committee's work was so super secret then it seems completely unreasonable to me that anyone in the group would give him all this information to publish in a book. His descriptions are very imaginative, and I wouldn't be surprised if something like this existed in all of time and space. However, I don't see why one or more people out of a tiny handful of scientists studying such secret stuff would be willing to expose themselves to repercussions from the government to reveal all of this stuff to Lou. That just doesn't make sense based on Lou's own descriptions of the security around the scientists and the fear the scientists had of retribution. This makes me question the credibility of all of his other work. It would be nice to think that someone who has this much information would be able and willing to put it out there for the world to see, but why would they give it to Lou? He has no connection to the project, the people, the field, so how would he even meet these people? He is not a government insider, so this just seems beyond reason to think he has access to someone who would spill this much real information. He never identifies his source of course, and there is no way to validate anything he says, so I can only assume he is either making it up or he believes whatever someone else is telling him, who also seems unlikely to have any credibility based on the tight secrecy. I give him credit for some interesting concepts however.

This book is insane and its story takes you beyond sanity
I discovered Lou Baldin only a short time ago and have already read nearly every single blog, and book.Had I known In League with a UFO was really about the downed ET craft in New Mexico at Roswell; I possibly would have given it a pass.I have read every Roswell book that is out there, to the point of; I have read it all you can tell me nothing new, and I can not read any more speculation on the subject.Intuitively?!I have known for years, books that discuss ETs and describe UFOs in a Star Trek, push a button and watch a computer screen type of 'human' way, are not describing the way it really is.This book is like reading about Ets and UFOs for the first time. This book is like reading about the incident/accident/manufactured event(?)for the first time.I was amazed at the level of detail, and new information............(in fact there is no old information between its covers)..............that I read in the few short hours it took me to read.As with all of Lou's books and the blogs...................Lou will challenge what you think you know, and if you are lucky, he will leave you considering the integrity you live your life by, and where your soul is with in the Universe.Lou Baldin's ability to deliver new information with out sensationalism or speculation is possibly why his work is being take so seriously.

Moving beyond the Belief "Box" stranglehold
Just may be the dis-informational machine, calling these things "conspiracies" which have deliberately done their job...keep folks ignorant of the "variety and greatness" of whats "out there". When one looks and ponders into the expanse at night, many thoughts enter your mind...let them flow. Many things are true because you believe them, not that they are valid truths..the biases and expectations and shortcuts we use to get through the life are good examples. When you try to change someone's worldview forcibly, they get a headache. People become defensive in the face of a frontal assault on their worldview. Cunning is far more effective.Mr. Baldin's experiences are written in a soft way, dribbling information, that just may help break the bondage of the "accepted" beliefs of a few folks. A psychological mind expanding journey, if you will "permit" such an experience to happen to you.Plenty has already been said in these reviews about "The Day After Roswell," by Col. Philip J. Corso. It expanded on a personal experience I had back in the 70's, and it wasn't till I read his book, that i was able to connect the dots.Highly recommend Lou's book...even if for a fun Sci-Fi fiction book - better than a movie, IMO. Put yourself into the cockpit and soar! never know, you might have an "Alice in Wonderland" event.

Love this book, what a fantastic read! A+!
Love this story, if it's real, then we as humans definitely benefited from the Roswell alien tech! Lou is human, but he is allowed to see into the afterlife and alien secrets! A+!

Deeper into the rabbit hole.
I'm always looking for further insights into the major human questions: who are we, why are we here, and where are we going? Lou Baldin's personal experiences with ETs does that and then some... Warning: reading any of Lou's writings on this subject will shake the foundations of everything you thought you knew, if you take him seriously - and you should. Otherwise you'll just have a few laughs and miss out on one of those great opportunities that rarely come our way. Please start with his book: A Day With An Extraterrestrial (very entertaining), then take the "Coming Clean..." titles in order, then everything else he wrote on the topic.

In League With a UFO
We all know of the Rosswell crash in 1947, we all know they tried to pass this off as a weather balloon, for this book we assume the crash happened, a committee was formed to study the alien ship under the air force and located at Area 51, it is said after the crash the ship repaired itself, three aliens were found, one dead and two alive, they were taken away, scientists working on the ship found none of their senses worked, watchies stopped and food became rancid, everything returned to normal as soon as they came outside the ship, the craft was bigger inside than out, when they wanted to enter the ship doors appeared from nowhere, gadgets in the ship seemed to be alive, they used animals to find out what some surgical gadgets did, some scientists were maimed or killed playing with these gadgetsOne lost an eye in a perfect surgical procedure with no blood, it was found human guinea pigs were used without their permission, they decided to practice on the mortally wounded and captured prisoners, they found they could cure Malaria, Dysentry, Frost Bite and eyesight, they found many amazing uses for the gadgets, every three days the gadgets would return to the ship where ever they were, they found one would let them walk through walls and walk on air, one scientist Bill was often abducted and saw experiments on humans, the scientists took old people from nursing homes, they took them using the alien gadgets, Bill finds his family have been abducted for hundreds of years, he saw a women in the ship they were taking her fetus and replacing it with another,Many good things and some bad are found out about the gadgets, the book tells how this begins to affect all their private livesMy verdict, I have read and watched many tv programmes regarding Rosswell, apart from the crash and recovery of bodies not much is said so how does this book come up with all this detail, seems strange to meMy verdict, I liked the book and will keep an open mind

why this book has not been made in to a No 1 best seller astounds me
I grabbed the Kindle version. I have only read 30% of it but I was glued from the start , I will probably finish it in two days its that interesting., If it was fiction it is compelling reading, however the possibility that it is true makes it all the more exciting.. I am so glued to this book that. why this book has not been made in to a No 1 best seller astounds me . It should be made in to a film. It makes Star Wars or Star Trek Technology look steam powered. The author describes the crashed Roswell incident and all the other experiments by members of the many teams assigned over the years.About a secret American committee assigned the task of working out how the amazing properties of the craft and its contents functioned., It is an extremely thought provoking book, we will never know if this story is true or made up . either way it is compelling stuff.

Until then
I have yet to read this Kindle book as I have so many other books to read. I bought it because I am interested in the content of the book and the way Lou tells of his amazing (what amounts to, adventures) life. When I get around to reading it I will then leave a full review, until then...

In League With a UFO-the Roswell Incident, by Lou Baldin
This is the first book I have read by this author. He describes the crashed Roswell saucer and numerous experiments by membersof a secret American committee to discover and understand the amazing properties of the craft and its contents, but there is just a cursory mention of what happened to the `crew`.Although this is an amazing, thought-provoking book, it is based upon information which the author received from an unknown man whom he met once in a restaurant in America. The man showed the author somedocuments-very briefly- and these caused him to write the book. So the problem is "How do we know the book is true ?" Yes, it is intriguing and out-of this-world, but it is impossible to check the facts. Hence I cannot give it five stars.

IN THE BIN
Much about Alien 'gadgets' that then become devices in the same sentence? These gadgets/devices make their own way back to the Alien vehicle every 72 hours, why? An Alien space vehicle that repairs itself? What happened to the occupants? What a load of cods wallop. Stick to authors like Timothy Good, Jenny Randles, Brad Steiger et al.
