This leather cleaner and conditioner is a fantastic option! My father made all of us kids, and his grandkids tooled leather rockers on oak rocker frames. They are priceless! My daughter’s rocker was drawn on with a permanent marker. I purchased this product for her to be able to take the ink out. It is important to read the instructions before starting your project. Part of the positive result depends on going step by step according to instructions. There is increase in effectiveness if you let the product sit in n the leather longer. After completing 1 treatment you can repeat treatments over until you achieve the result! Amodex has many uses! It works on ink based stains, grease and oil stains, is safe for any fabric (but does advise testing on a small area first), and it is completely safe on skin! In fact, Amodex was originally created to remove printing ink from hands in the 1950s. And it is made in the USA. So, this product is great to carry with for hand cleaner! I ordered this to remove ink stains from my purse lining and it worked like a charm. Note that it was partially successful on an ink stain I had previously treated with alcohol, but that warning was on the box. So far it has removed every stain I’ve tried it on. Great product, well worth the price.

I have a toddler so I’ve had a few experiences with permanent markers on various items. This product does not work on those types of stains. It is terrible. It will improve it.. but just enough to still make you crazy. The only time I’ve ever had this fully remove a permanent marker is when it was very lightly marked on (not a lot of pressure)- and that was still a journey. I bought this kit because I thought, hey! Maybe I need the magic brushes in here. Total waste of money and time. I wouldn’t waste my money. Miss Mouths Messy Eater is a great treater! it removes pan, all sorts of hard to treat stains, and while it does remove permanent marker, pretty well out of upholstery, and also does not do well clothing and bedding, but I would recommend it over this product for tough stains. If it’s Sharpie? Just kiss it goodbye or be ok with a partial stain remaining. 😫

Amazing. I have used it for years on dozens of different stain types, never fails. Might have to use it 2-3 times thru wash on stains that have been thru dryer but it really does work.

Works better than most other similar products!

Eh. It works but doesn’t take the stains fully out. I used it on my white sneakers that had a stain for my leather jacket. The stain faded but didn’t go away. I tried it on another stain and go the same result. Just got the stain to fade.

Honestly I followed the instructions and didn’t think it would get the entire stain out. I used the brush and drops of remover on the stain and papertowel behind method but at some point it just didn’t take more off using that method. It kept foaming blue so i figured it was still lifting it off. I applied more product to each ink stain and rubbed in. Then put in washing machine on hot and added Tide plus Oxiclean as well on tough stain mode. I figured i would have lighter versions at best but after 1 wash they were completely gone!!! Very happy. If this was something that could not be removed from cushion I don’t think it would have worked as well since it is much harder to wash, but in those cases i recommend getting a steam vacuum cleaner and use alternating with treatments/brushing.
