This u part wig is very very natural looking. It has clips and combs which is great to have both. The clips are very comfortable. Other wigs with clips that I have worn start to hurt after a while but this u part wig feels very good. I would have preferred a 1b color but it is a natural black so it looks brownish black. The hair doesn’t really hold a curl for long but it still looks good and natural. I did have to apply heat to get it to look the way I wanted it to look. These pictures were taken a couple of days after I did the initial flat iron and added product to it. You do have to put in a little work but it will turn out good. I like that it’s feels very light and breathable. It’s really hot outside but this wig feels more breathable than others.

I scored this wig high so people can see it. Sometimes people ignore the low reviews. I give the wig a 1 for quality and a zero for customer service. if you request a refund. Beware: Bad experience all around. The quality of the wig is terrible. The amount of the wig is too high for the quality. I could have purchased this at my local beauty supply store for $20-$30. This is a ripoff. I returned for a refund and have to wait over 30 days just to refund my money to an Amazon Gift card electronically. They say they refund but it takes over 1 month after they receive the item. I sent the item back and am just sitting and waiting. The tracking says they received the item but I still have to wait I guess for the to resell it.

Let me preface this by saying I'm only writing it because I love this hair so much. There was no smell, little shedding and the texture is amazing. Nice and full, blends amazingly well. You can see half of my hair with leave out just in it's natural state and then the other half once I flat ironed it. Still looks really natural and moves very well. My only issue is the cap is a little large (and I have a big head!) Go ahead and buy it sis, you won't be disappointed.

The hair is very nice. I was unsure if I was going to keep the U- part wig because I orde a 22 inche and the length seemed to be more like 18 or 20 inches. I would order this hair again for sure!

Last October I bought this hair on a whim for my cousins wedding. I needed hair (and fast) and due to the pandemic I turned to Amazon to purchase because of prime. Prior to this, I’d never purchased hair from Amazon and I actually purchased this and another wig from different vendor, but also had an appointment booked for a sew in just in case (I was super skeptical of Amazon hair & wasn’t taking any chances). When the units arrived, I immediately returned the other one because the quality was subpar & this was so much better.I’d never installed a u part before this or purchased one from any other site, so I can’t compare the unit in general. But after getting so many compliments on “my hair” the day of the wedding I was sold! As far as Amazon hair goes...this is what it is!!The construction of the cap is impressive. The wig cap is a little big but it comes with adjustable straps, clips and combs to make sure it secure on your head. The versatility of the u part style, the naturalness of the kinky texture, combined with the quality and softness of the hair...not to mention the convenience of being able to take the unit on-and-off (unlike a sew in with leave-out) has me honestly debating whether or not sew-ins have a place in my protective styling rotation anymore...u parts might take its place.I’ve installed and reinstalled this u part unit 3 times in the past 6 month, curled it, straightened it, cut it blunt, did a V-cut, went back in and added layers, dyed it darker, and it’s still going strong.If you’re on the fence about this hair (trust me I was too) but I don’t regret my purchase and neither will you! Just protect your leave out and edges & continue to care for your hair underneath and you’ll be good. *make sure to wash the unit before installing and the color is a little on the lighter side of 1B so if you have super dark/black hair you might need to do a rinse to tint it darker. You may also have to straighten it, or blow dry it to match your hairs texture. *YouTube is your friend when it comes to u part installation*My only cons are: the hair does shed and the thickness/density of the wig isn’t to my liking. Those don’t go well together but they’re both manageable. If I had to guess the density is probably somewhere along the lines of 120%. I just have a bigger head and like my hair a bit thicker. For The price though and the length..I can’t really complain.*I purchased this unit entirely with my own coins and the opinions held within are completely my own. I’ve had the unit for almost 6months before leaving this review because I wanted to make sure I could speak on all aspects of the hair. I like the hair quality is great but the wig cap is huge. Like you can fit multiple heads in this wig. I’m not sure if anyone’s head would fit in this without adjusting. Even with a strap added there’s a huge space that makes it look to weird and bulky. I can’t wear it as it is. It literally falls off my head. I’m either going to return it or take it apart.

Original review: I really like this hair! It’s actually a lot softer than I thought it would be. No bad smell, light shedding only when brushing (some shedding is to be expected with kinky/curly textured hair while brushing). I soaked this in ACV and a bit of moisturizing shampoo upon arrival and it did get a bit tough after rinsing which initially worried me, but I used a deep conditioner (no plastic bag or heat) and it bounced back right away to full softness.Installing was a breeze and it blends really well with my 4b/4c combination hair, but I think this would blend with any type 4 texture. My hair reverts very easily from heat and even after a little reverting it still blends pretty well, as long as I use some product like a serum on my hair after applying heat.I also blow dried and straightened the hair after applying a heat protectant on 400 degrees (only one pass) and it took the heat pretty well. It’s not going to beat the more expensive extensions or bundles but it is totally worth the price!Updated review: The wig was great for the first few months, but now it gets matted and poofs up no matter how detangled and sleek it is after washing. I take decent care of this wig and didn't apply heat often. I also deep conditioned it regularly. It's probably just not great quality or had some sort of coating that wore off. Not a great investment wig.
