One of the best value gamer laptop
I've owned Dell G5 5590 and XPS 2019 models in this year. It has a decent bulit quality, however not as decent as XSP 15. For example if you hold one handed close to bottom fan it could engage fan noise. (becuase of bottom cover touches fan). But other than that it is very sutrdy and high quality. Mine come with LG display, which has a brightness of 325-300nit. no PWM flickering at all! This is perfect for indoor use, but not for outdoors. Color accuracy and contrast ratio is good. 256GB SSD is OEM Samsung 981, which is very decent. Battery life is not so good becuase of 144hz display, but you can turn it to 60hz if you want. Built in speakers are good, just a little bit behind XPS speakers. Placement is excellent!Thermal performance is really fantastic. In default it come undervolted by 100 mV, however mine is runs fine with 150 as well. I limit frames to 60fps (becuase of my external monitor) i can play any games about 60- 66 celsius with very low fan noise. You can turn on manual fan rpm (however lowest is 4200rpm which is pretty loud) and by that you can get super low temps but of course fan noise gets loud. Keyboard is short travelling, but feels good for me, similar experience as Dell XPS. However they made a very annoying placement of arrow keys. You have to get use to it! Touchpad is excellent. Charger is 200W, very decent and has a very sturdy cable which obviously will last long, but a pretty unpleasent to curl up.With this price it is a must buy laptop!

Great value, Great laptop
Its a perfect laptop for the money, great deal at the moment and great specs, its compatible with razer's eGPU box through the thunderbolt port so you can upgrade your graphics down the line for desktop performance. I used to have an alienware r4 gtx 1070 and this is not only thinner lighter and quieter its also more powerful and cost about £500 less! The fans are loud when gaming and using the fans on maximum capacity, but what do you expect? The noise is negligible to be really honest. I have put a samsung qvo 1tb in the empty 2.5 inch slot and works really well with the laptop, getting 550mbs/ 520mbs on read and write. You need a T5 screwdriver to get the screws out the back and you will need to buy some m3 screws to secure the drive to the bracket. Haven't needed to upgrade the ram as the stock ram is perfectly fine. Like pretty much all gaming laptops you'll need to keep it on charge whilst your playing to get maximum performance out of it, with general use its perfectly fine on battery power and i have experienced no issues with it. Very pleased with it and very much recommend it to anyone looking to buy as you will not find better at this price range

Great Laptop.
Blade 15 Review.I have had the blade 15 for a few weeks so thought I would do a review. My version is the 2019 Base which was on offer with Amazon, the 2020 model is very similar so this should help any potential buyers for even the 2020 model.Spec out of the boxIntel i7-9750HNvidia 1660ti16 GB of Ram256gb M.2 Memory144hz 1080p IPS screen-Build QualityOverall very nice, a lot claim MacBook build quality, I have owned MacBook’s in the past and while I think the Razer is one of the best builds on a windows device it’s not quite apple but it’s not that far behind. It does feel very premium. The only gripes I really have is while the black colourway looks great it is a fingerprint magnet and on the base models the snake head logo on the lid can not be turned off (its tied to screen brightness)-TrackpadThis hands down the best trackpad I have used on a windows laptop, its large and very responsive. It uses windows drivers so has lots of functionality.-ScreenColours really pop and the 144hz refresh rate is awesome for gaming. I believe all blades are factory calibrated with Razers unique colour profile and they are pretty colour accurate.Light Bleed/IPS Glow: IPS glow is of course there, it’s something you can’t avoid. There is a tiny bit of light bleed (100 % brightness in a dark room on a black screen) but it’s the best I have experienced on an IPS panel. In an ideal world light bleed would be zero but in reality, you will not find a an IPS panel that has zero light bleed. You can have varying amounts from acceptable to bad. Check any forum from any brand and light bleed comes up a lot, some people go through multiple RMA’s to find the perfect IPS panel (they don’t exist unfortunately). You can check light bleed but getting hung up on how much bleed the panel has at 100% brightness in a dark room on a pitch-black screen is not real-world usage i.e. If I am watching a movie in bed on the device I have the brightness set to the lowest setting. If more, You Tubers talked about this I think there would be less complaints online. If the light bleed is not distracting you are ok.-KeyboardIts ok but verging on “meh”, the travel of the keys are quite shallow. My major gripe is on the UK keyboard the left shift key is tiny, left shift is used a lot in gaming and productivity wise I am left shift user. Its not a deal breaker but more of an annoyance. The RGB is single zone so one colour for the whole keyboard (the advanced model has per key RGB) For me it’s not an issue, I always have one colour set on other devices. You can change the brightness and to any colour you like.-Razer SoftwareIts seems many hate it, I think its ok. It allows you to easily change the RGB of the keyboard and set the performance modes. You can also do some minor system maint/optimizations.-Storage/MemoryIt comes with a 256gb m2 SSD and a space for 2.5” SSD/HDD. The amount of storage is a bit of a bummer, but this is easy enough to sort. I tried a spare SSHD I had. This did work but the noise of the drive was actually pretty irritating so I swapped it out with 2TB Sata SSD. Be aware you need the screws as well as they are not in the bay.The 2020 version of he Base Model uses M.2 drives only-Battery LifeIt has a 65WH battery so if battery life is a big concern you will be disappointed. I had to do a little bit optimization to get battery life up. Unfortunately this is mainly down to windows. I am getting on average 5-6hrs if doing routine tasks i.e. web browsing, movies, a bit of work. This is ok for me but is one of the downsides of a gaming style laptop.Gaming and heavy CPU/GPU tasks on battery is a no no, you wont damage anything but battery life will be terrible and also the device wont be getting the required power. It seems a lot of people think you can game on battery, maybe solitaire but that’s about it. This goes for all gaming laptops.-PerformanceThis is my travel device, to be honest I wasn’t expecting great gaming performance compared to my desk top but I have to say I am pleasantly surprized with 1660ti. I installed all of my games and while I haven’t played all of them on the Razer yet the ones I have played have been great. There are ton of benchmark vids on YouTube but one game I have been playing on the blade is the new Tony Hawks remaster which ran maxed settings (apart from shadows) at a locked 120 FPS. To me the performance is more than enough.I did try my Rift- but this seemed to push the device pretty hard. The CPU is also fine, yes we would all like to see AMD chips but Razer isn’t doing them in their devices yet.-TempsFor normal day to ay use temps remain low. In gaming and more intense tasks they have been fine and much lower than I have been used to in the past on other devices. I believe Razer applies a factory undervolt which stops temps getting out of control. This is fine by me as when temps rise devices will thermal throttle any way.I have no need to undervolt myself, while this is easy enough to do its one less thing to bother with so a win in my book.-Acoustics.During normal tasks the fans may hum a little bit every now and then, usually tied with windows doing something in the background but for browsing and general use the device is quiet.Obviously during intense tasks they are going to ramp up, when hooked up to a rift S they maxed out which is pretty loud but when playing games like Tony Hawk they were fine, I could game without wearing a headset which I was again surprized out.-SpeakersVery nice, they are up firing, I haven’t found the need to max them out yet and find them pretty nice when watching movies in bed. No complaints here.-IO/Ports.No Dongles needed!! Well ok unless you use SD cards!! A big difference between this model and the 2020 is this 2019 base has a mini display port. If you plan on doing VR read up on this!!-ValueI got a good deal, it was reduced by like £600 so I am of course very happy. Unfortunately, if you want the latest version then Razer Tax is a thing. At full retail I do feel they are overpriced somewhat and other brands offer better value for money.-Final Verdict.Overall, I am very happy with the blade, it does everything I need it to, temps and acoustics are nice and it looks and feels like a quality item. Yes, you will see lots of complaints about these devices but if you google any other brand it’s no different as people are always more vocal when something goes wrong. My honest advice is to not go crazy with the specs. The higher the cost for blades are just really for the GPU’s. If you really need beast level performance, then a desktop is the way to go. If you can get the 2019 blade at a big discount I would also recommend this over the 2020 version, the savings can be huge.

Defiantly worth the purchase in 2020
I bought the 2019 base 1660Ti and the build quality is the best out there. Can get hot to the touch in the middle but seems to function fine. Saved a lot of money buying an older year so very happy with the product. Plays all the latest games. Battery isn’t great but no gaming laptop is and the internal 256gb ssd is small but easy to work around with an external drive.
