Comfy, but not as comfy as my Dr. Scholl Jayleens
In 2012 I bought the Dr. Scholls Jayleen flats and I loved them. They fit perfectly, snug to my foot, and very comfortable cushioning insole. When they started to wear out, I decided to buy myself another Dr. Scholls shoe since I enjoyed my first pair. Well, these are not as good as the Jayleen. The insole isn't as cushy, almost reminds me of egg shell cushioning. The heel doesn't grip onto my foot very well and it is always sliding out. And the outsole of the shoe doesn't have much traction, I find myself sliding on concrete or laminate flooring which is a bit scary. And, it rubs a bit at my heel as well, feels like I might be getting a blister after wearing it all day.I love the look of these shoes though. The printed jersey fabric is really appealing and pretty neutral. And over all they are comfortable except where it is rubbing up against my heel. But I am sure that will correct itself as I continue to wear the shoes. But I would definitely choose the Jayleen over the Joliet

Dr. Scholl Joliet Ballet Flat, Copper, 10W
I have an incredibly difficult time finding shoes that fit my wide-at-the-forefoot-but-narrow-at-the-heel feet. Throw in moderately severe bunions and lower back pain from inadequately-cushioned shoes. The pool of attractive and trendy shoes that also address all these issues is pretty much nonexistent; I still have hope but it dies a little every time I have to buy shoes.I've been on the hunt for flats to wear with jeans, slim cropped pants, and *whispers* leggings, and I found them. The pros:They're wide enough even for my Fred Flintstone feet. There's more than enough room to put in insoles, which I need. They're neutral enough to go with nearly every pant I ownThe cons:The flat is made so that your ankles roll inward and I knocked a star off the rating for it. It was quite disconcerting to take a few steps in these shoes and feel absolutely no support in the arch area. I don't think this is a good shoe for those whose ankles are pronated unless you use an orthotic to provide arch support. It's not especially shock absorbent. I purchased Dr. Scholl's insoles for lower back pain and stuck it under the existing shoe liner when I discovered it's removable.Maybe it's related to the width but these shoes are matronly. Like Granny-matronly.It is pewter in color and does not resemble the color of new pennies or copper cookware in any respect.Like other reviewers have noted, the back of the shoe really chafes. Slap a piece of moleskin or a large Band-Aid onto the back of your heel for the first few days you wear this. It's not at all breathable and if those little sock liners (Peds or footies or whatever they're called) stay on your feet all day (they don't for me), you will want to wear them with these flats if you tend to have sweaty feet like me. I've had them less than two weeks and they already don't smell... fresh.Despite the cons vastly outnumbering the pros, I would still purchase these shoes again. Partly because there really aren't that many options for someone with my foot issues, but also because for thirty-eight bucks, I can easily work with the above issues.

A work in progress, but I think I like them?
I will start off by saying I ordered these shoes a half size small because most reviews said they run large. The shoes came and I was ecstatic that they are really cute and look great on!However, the shoes feel tight with the insoles inside. The shoe is roomy when you remove the insole, so I trimmed some of the material off the bottom of the insole. This helped, but I am waiting to get the fit right still. At least my toes aren't squished to the roof now.If I had ordered a larger size, I believe the shoes would be too loose.I have been wearing these shoes for work and I keep hoping they will be comfy when I get them broken in.They do scrape my heels, but I am hopeful. My next step is to swap out the insoles if I can't make them comfy. The good thing is, they are removable. Which is really good, because the shoes don't have the best ventilation ever and the insoles will probably get smelly-- a problem I haven't had to this extent before.I am struggling with these shoes, but they have a lot of promise. Maybe I am just not used to insoles like these-- but I will update my review when the shoes feel better on my feet.

The Almost Perfect Flat
Purchased in: 2014.Bought for: Myself, but they were too large. I gave them to my sister instead as a Christmas gift.Size: 11 B(M) USPros: The Dr. Scholl's Women's Blue Chambray Joliet is super comfortable, cute, and quality made. The foot insole is amazingly comfortable, the flat is stylish and goes with pretty much anything, and the shoes seem sturdy and durable.Cons: The sizing seems weirdly off. I normally wear a 10.5R in shoes. I ordered a size up to make up for half sizes being unavailable. It was too large (my feet came out of the shoe when I tried walking in them). I gave it to my sister, who normally wears a 10W. A size 11 B(M) fit her feet, but not mine. It just doesn't make sense to me.Overall: I liked this purchase. My sister loves them, so I have no regrets! I will definitely consider buying this item or something similar from this seller again. Please provide some half sizes for those who have weirdly large shaped feet, sizing up just doesn't cut it sometimes. Lol.Shipping/Handling: The item arrived on time, in new condition, with no problems. Thank you.

Lovely, comfortable shoes
Very comfortable shoes, wear them for work all day and my feet feel as good at the end of the day as they did at the start.
