Expensive but worth it
I wanted to get a laptop which could do most of the things my desktop computer does. I was not disappointed. It runs all my standard software (MS Office) without any problems, it also runs my programming software and of course games. The only niggles are with the positioning of the connections to the outside world, I would have preferred the power input to have been at the back for example.I spent more than I was going to spend but it was definitely worth it!

Good for gamers only
Great:Additional "screen pad" is really useful, particularly with the ASUS app that quick launches and restores your layout of several programs. Extra screen tilts when the lid is opened, so easy to see, and so allows extra cooling.Well thought out cooling solution.Main screen is terrific for colour and brightness.Excellent performance - but there are lots of benchmarks for laptops on youtube to check that out.Good:Touchpad has built in number pad. Located at side is useful - close to right hand. Might be useless if you are left handed though?Understated design - you can use it professionally without embarrassment.Lovely finish of metal chassis.Bad:Keyboard lettering is faint as it is designed for illumination. Illumination only lights the main letter not the punctuation - not useful for work tasks.Advertised with free Dying Light 2 - but the game doesn't exist yet.Terrible:Fn + arrow keys gives super quick ability to change back-light colour scheme. PgUp/PgDn and arrows are toggled by an inconvenient button. It is unusable for work tasks. In the end I bought a budget wireless number pad to work with it.Had to return because it will sometimes lock up if allowed to sleep so looses your work; and buttons on touch pad randomly stopped working after a couple weeks. Laptops are immensely complex, so it can happen that something goes wrong after a couple of weeks. I suppose.Overall:If you need a pure gaming laptop, this is really good. If you need to work on it as well, then the Zephyrus Duo is likely a better choice because of the keyboard and stylus. Why do you need to have immediate access to the back light, not the navigation keys?

Beast of a machine!! Fast and responsive.
This is quite expensive but has so far ticked all my boxes. Of course it doesn’t have a camera but that wasn’t why I bought it.

QA lacking
My initial review is below. Because one key did not work, I could not use the first laptop delivered. I ordered another one, and I am quite happy with this. It's fast, (relatively) light, with a clear, vivid main screen, the 2nd screen is a godsend for the tasks I have to perform, no problems so far, and all the keys are working ;-) So I updated to 4 stars. I cannot give 5 stars, though, because the fact remains that first I was sent a laptop that was not fully functioning. The only drawback is the usual 4K screen problems caused by some apps not being fully compatible with this resolution, but that's hardly the fault of Asus.I couldn't wait to get my hands on this marvellous machine and was so happy when it finally arrived today. Unboxing the laptop, I immediately noticed the high quality of everything. Alas, this good impression only lasted until I started the setup, trying to enter the login details for my MS account, when I noticed that one of the keys did not work. Nothing happened when I pressed it, or the letter appeared countless times in a row. Which makes the laptop unusable, I couldn't even set it up. I think it is not expected too much of a laptop this expensive that everything works, including all keys on the keyboard. Best case, the QA at Asus is sorely lacking - they should have noticed this problem before sending out the product. If the key had worked, I would have kept the laptop - everything else simply felt perfect.

Abysmal Asus after sales support
Although this laptop is one of the flagship models and looks amazing the same can’t be said about the abysmal service from Asus. This company is an absolute joke. After purchasing the i7 version of this laptop for a cool £3k. I found that a part of the Asus software wasn’t working. The software in question was game visual. I kept getting a message saying it wasn’t compatible with this model and it stated that I should contact Asus customer services.I promptly contacted them and hoped that it would be a simple fix seeing as it was Asus’s own software. They sent the usual pre-populated email giving trouble shooting tips. I had to uninstall the armoury crate and game visual software, I then needed to install it again. I carried this out and had the same issue. To get to this point it took 2 weeks from the purchase date. When I contacted them again they said I’d have to return it to them for repair! A two week old £3k laptop with a software issue and they wanted me to return it under warranty. In no uncertain terms I refused as I was well in my rights to return it for a refund or exchange for a new replacement.I explained the situation to Asus and requested that a UK service manager contacts me. I literally sent 7 emails asking for the same thing and gave Asus the opportunity to rectify the problem. I pretty much tested them to see how much they valued the purchase of their flagship model. To date they’ve still not bothered to contact me. They’ve not even attempted to remotely resolve their own software issue, which tells me that this problem is probably known to them and the only fix on a £3k laptop is for me to return it to their workshop under the warranty! I’m pretty certain the guy I spoke to even said I’d have to cover my own costs for sending the product to them.I kid you not, stay away from Asus products if you think you’ll require their support in the future. And as for this model, it looks slick and I’m sure it performs well too, but for £3k and a support package which is akin to that of a promise from a back alley salesman, I’d avoid Asus and their products at at all costs. As for mine, it’s been returned for a full refund. A major bullet dodged.

Expensive & No built in camera.
Love the computer for speed , multitasking etc but not to have a built in camera I felt slightly conned.
