Sparx Valve Tire Light with Battery, Red

These things are incredibly bright! They look great when the tire is spinning and no doubt will make you very noticeable in the dark.

These tire lights work well. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they are a bit too sensitive, and they flash much longer then necessary after the bicycle is stopped. Cars can easily see them, so they do the job they are intended to do.

Bought this on Amazon and have been using for a few weeks. I usually put on lighted valve caps on the family bikes when getting near dark (in addition to standard lights). These valve caps are motion sensing which means they only turn on when they are in motion which is nice in theory from a battery saving perspective. But in reality, my specific item purchased does not always light up when we are cycling down the road...therefor not very useful and frustrating as well. Expectation is that it should work all the time when my wheels are moving, not some of the time or only if I bunnyhop the bike...otherwise no point in buying. I bought a generic version on ebay for 1/3 the price and that item has always lighted up when cycling/ wheels spinning. Hence, 1 star for this item I purchased on Amazon. One works perfectly, the other one just stays on and hasnt turned off. Even when the package arrived it was on. It was faint but they included more batteries so i changed it them and the only thing that happen was it became brighter.. I guess i will get to see how long the batteries last in real time..

They are bright and easy to see at night, however when riding on a flat surface such as the road, they do not turn on and I have had to give them a little whack to turn them on again. Better function for mountain biking when the terrain is uneven.

I've used these a fair bit and so far I really like them. I looked around for a lot of options for ways to provide side visibility on a bicycle. Nothing did an excellent job on this, nor even really good, but these do. Not only do they look good, but they create an easy to identify marker for your bicycle. Someone might see a light and think, "What is that?" But seeing these swirling in circular motions is much easier to use to identify what is being seen. They work great good fit and color is bright.

got these for my 4 yr old grandson, and he's thrilled! At first, I thought he would crash trying to look at them while riding, but now he's used to them and they add alot of fun to his bike. AND, as an aside, my thought was, while we were on vacation...if he was riding later in the day, it would give good visibility, which they do.
