Solid product, at a great price.
To the other poor reviews, you can't get a Corvette at Honda pricing. Deal with it.I have a collection ranging from $300+ Gerber's and CRKTs to smoke shop steals, and I can honestly say these knives are greatly priced for what you get.About the blade :It holds an edge well enough, and it is full tang. It is not true fire blackened. The wood grips need beeswax, or oiling. However it is over engineered as far as the pins go (it has six, plus the hollow pin at the end). This is a rough and dirty camping or garden blade. I've purchased three now from these guys, and all three have been beaten my expectations as a knife user/collector. Throw it on your belt or backpack for a weekend romp, or throw it at a stump in your backyard, it'll hold up well.

Horrible Quality
The finish was horrible, the staining of the blade and the handle wasn’t done correctly. Then to top it off the blade contained many long scratches and even rust. Unless you plan on refinishing the whole knife yourself, keep looking elsewhere!

Rusty blade with no use what so ever.
Blade never used and rusted and pitted. This knife set in my office and has never been used and it is rusted and pitted when my other Wil Turkey Handmade knife of the same steel, 1075 has rust what so ever. I have emailed the seller and will update this review.

things you should know before buying
On the 1821 model:On first looks ONLY after receiving, decent quality 1075 steel, protected well with a heavy grease coat. Can't say that I believe that it is hand forged as there is a lot of symmetry in the "random" texture pattern on the steel, and the handle scales are a CLOSE match to the tang shape. These things lead me to believe it is actually stamped to shape at the minimum. Also, for a 4.5" handle ... the radius for the cuts are shaped more for a person with small hands. If they bumped the handle out to a full 5" it would be more comfortable for a larger hand. And the angles in the handle will cause Hotspot with prolonged use times. Since it is so small gloves will not solve this issue

Great Value!
Great knife at a great price. A bit bigger than I imagined. Decent balance. Sharp right out of the box. Sheath is a cheapie but functional. My 3rd Wild Turkey.

Sharp
After usps finally delivered my package, (took a whole month), I was pleased with the size an quality of the knife. For under $40 you can't argue too much about it. But when opening found this grey putty on the handle. Maybe sharpening compound that wasn't cleaned? Don't know but it washed off easily. The blade is extremely sharp and has a nice mirror finish on it. The wood in the handel has some imperfections/ discoloration to it but looks more rustic. Overall a very nice knife.

Cheap in every sense of the word. And fun as heck.
You get what you pay for.The tang will be offset in the handle. Part of the handle won't align with the tang. The metal is easy to sharpen but will lost sharpness extremely quickly. And still: I really dig this knife. Stab it into feedbags and mark lumber with it - nothing that requires precision or sharpness - but it's a hefty beater with a thick, balanced blade. And it'll match the kilties on your boots, for you fashionable types.

1820 decent value
Sturdy and cheap enough that I won’t feel bad about putting it to work. The finish is decent, the piting isn’t half bad, but the color is coming off.The handle is too small for an adult. I will cut the lower lip, sand, and oil.The sheath is not at all what was pictured. It’s a shame because the one in the photo is gorgeous, but it came with a generic cheapo. Might be worth the time to try and customize a bit. There is a slight twist to the blade, but not enough to cause problems.

ABSOLUTE JUNK
This knife is made from soft junk metal. It claims to be high carbon steel but it wasn’t even heat tested as far I can tell. It arrived damaged in the box with several flat spots and dents on the edge in the factory wrapped box! I actually bought another Wild Turkey knife at the same time and it too had edge damage, even worse than the other one and still the same junk steel blade. Save your money and buy a blade from a reputable company.
