Small Discreet Please No Waste In Garden Sign and 1ft Steel Post Mounted To Place In Your Lawn Or Garden

We have a small front yard in our new DC-style row house. There are two spots in the green grass that are dead/brown from dog pee. So we bought this sign to avoid anymore dead spots on our grass.The sign is a good size for a small garden. But for a big sprawling lawn, you should get something bigger.The sign itself is as big as a regular sized printed photo or postcard. But the post is shorter than it appears in the photo. But it is true to size as described on the website, 12 inches long. The website picture is inaccurate. So how it really looks -- the sign is screwed to the top of post. So if the sign is 6 inches in height, if it is screwed to the top of the post, the sign covers half of the 12-inch post, which leaves only 6 inches of post to stick into the ground. I hope that makes sense.

Nice, more polite than I feel about people who let their dogs use my garden as a potty. The only thing I could wish for is a longer stake because in order to make it steady you have to drive it all the way to the ground (and lets face it, the humans talking on their phones aren't going to notice it), or engineer a longer stake.

I don't know why but I thought it was bigger, but thats my fault for not reading the dimensions. I have to say I like the discreetness of it though and its of a good quality.

These signs are small but they look great in my front yard flower bed. They work too.

The sign is great, now if only the neighbors would be polite enough to abide by it and/or clean up after themselves.
