There are dozens of Northern Soul compilations available with a new collection appearing every couple of months. Most simply recycle the same old well worn "hits" for a quick cash in. Thankfully this comp avoids the trap. OK there are a handful of those "go to classics" included but they don't dominate the tracklist. There are more than enough "new" deeper cuts included here that don't often if ever appear on other collections to create interest in this disc. A good collection worthy of investment. Don't mistake this disc for a very similar release on the same label a few years back- same title and almost identical cover. The track list IS different!
