Bowsers Artisan Diner Double Feeder, X-Small, Walnut

I got this because my cat kept knocking over her water bowl and this has definitely put a stop to her ability to do that which is GREAT. I got the small instead of the extra small and at first I wasn’t sure if I had gotten the right size but I think small for regular size cat is the right size. The only thing I don’t like about it is the bowls are square which can make it hard for her to “clean her bowl” so I wish the bowls were round/rounded, but not having to constantly clean up spilled water is worth it. The other slight disappointment was my holder is all one color with no wood grain or color differentiation, but I saw some others didn’t like that.. personal preference I guess. I’m trying to be careful about not getting water on the wood holder but will be interested to see how well it holds up over time. Also, it’s pretty pricey, but again I wanted something that looked nice that she couldn’t knock over so I splurged.

I purchased this for my new puppy. She will top out at about 7 pounds so I needed something small but sturdy. This fit the bill. Also, I have just had new flooring put in my home and this feeder compliments the flooring beautifully. This is a wooden feeder that is made VERY WELL. My husband and I make custom cabinets and we know good workmanship. I would recommend this feeder to my friends and family.

Fossil arrived and looked much more like the walnut color, MUCH darker than pictured. Also make sure to verify the sizes. Medium is much larger than expected, but that is on me. Had my heart set on the lighter looking wood grain, but if the color is not that important to you, the quality of the product cannot be questioned. Sturdy and well crafted.

Great feeder for large lab and golden and lab mix, I ended up getting the double feeder for the food and the single for the water. Water will drip on the wood and damage it over time. I purchased the walnut, the pictures are terrible on Amazon, the wood is more brown and red not the grey it seems to show in the photos, or maybe it's my computer. How ever I do highly recommend this feeder. I only gave it 4 stars because I purchased a used one from Net Pet Shop, the distributor, and it did not state there was anything wrong with the feeder, however once I received it, the support board between the two bowls was broken. I have called the company and I am waiting to hear back. Fingers crossed they can just send out the wood and not have to repack the bowls and all.

I love the style, stain of the wood, the size of the bowls. No matter what it’s still extraordinarily overpriced for what it equals or who could build that. I’m just saying it’s beautiful but it’s not worth that amount of money. That’s crazy in my head but it’s lovely to look at but not 175+ dollars. This was a splurge!

UPDATE:It’s three years since I purchased the feeder and it still looks like new. Rascal has a pal now so I wish the stand also came as a triple. I will probably just buy the single and put the water in the middle bowl when they are together.I love this feeder, it put Rascals food at the proper height so he can eat without bending down. He’s eating and drinking easier now.Not only is this feeder ergonomically correct, but it looks fabulous on my new wood kitchen floors. The contemporary design goes anywhere. I purchased the small feeder which holds about 1 1/2 cups of dry food. The square bowls are the proper shape to allow cats to eat without their whiskers touching the sides (very important for their comfort). I purchased an additional set of bowls so one set can be in the dishwasher. The cost is a little pricey but well worth the it. It makes up for all the feeders I purchased and threw away. I wish I had seen this one first.

We lucked out in that the fossil feeder totally matched our kitchen island! That aside, I was happy that the fossil color is a grayish and relatively homogenous-looking item. In the stock photo, it looks like there are patchy/stripey colors of reddishness and brownishness and I wasn't sure if I'd like it. But in real life, it was....well it was how it looks in the pictures attached! It's modern and cool, and high-end looking. I have to look at it every day so I feel that it's worth the money. I love the ceramic bowls.... stainless often looks cold and uninviting. Totally sturdy. Awesome purchase.

Nicest looking dog bowl set up I have found. Fossil is more of a solid gray with slight wood grain showing underneath. Good height for my mini goldendoodle and he has yet to dump the bowls which he has done with his previous lighter feeder bowls. If you love the clean lines and quality then the expense is worth it for something you touch and see through out the day.
