I bought this because i needed a cord to get photos from my camera to my computer and it worked great. It was long and fit perfectly. you can tell that it was built good because it felt nice and sturdy and didn’t feel cheaply made. would definitely recommend if you need a cord like this because of the cost and performance.

Used the cord to upload 20 yr old mo3?files from and old plate. Worked great.

I am not sure what is different about this cable BUT if you have devices that seem to not be working like cameras, usb mics, etc. I would say get this cable and solve your problems. I had a Samson Q2U usb mic that I thought stopped working and also have a Canon T3i that was working and then stopped working when attached to my PC. I had tried three different random cables I had lying around with the mic and the camera.I tried this on 3 different devices laptop, desktop, and my iPad Air w/ usb adapter. No-go on all. Super frustrated now.As I was putting camera back in bag I seen the very short usb cable that came with the Canon. I decided to try it...BOOM BABY.. I was back in business. Tried the little cable with the mic and it worked too. Tried little cable with iPad Air and mics were detected.So I decided to scoop this longer cable up from Amazon, everything works perfect. It is thicker cable than the random ones I had lying around and seems to be very good quality.

Sometimes it will disconnect if you bump the wire. Other than that, works well with little to no delay.

Nothing wrong with the cable, but it is NOT compatible with the Canon Powershot G7X Mark III, even though G7X is listed in the name and description. Just warning others that might be in my position.

A lot of people were saying that this cord didn't work for the Canon cameras even though it says it does. Let me cut straight to the case. It ended up working for my REBEL T100 and it might for yours with one simple step. Turn off (Disable) the Wi-Fi on your camera. Boom. Just like that It worked.I tried everything to get this cord to work for mines and nothing worked. I googled troubleshooting questions and turning off the Wi-Fi was one of them and it worked. Returned Canceled!

It did not work, so I sent it back. Hope I was the only one.

This was a life saver!! I wanted to use my canon rebel t5i as a webcam for streaming but I couldn’t get it to work with a generic cord. I didn’t know if it was the cord, my computer or EOS utility. This did the trick. As soon as it was plugged in, the computer recognized it and it was useable. You do need EOS utility downloaded for it to work. A $10 cable saved me from buying another webcam and making a $600 camera useless!

I bought this to assist in remote shooting on my Canon camera via a direct link to my PC. My previous Canon brand cable had an intermittent connection fault and this product completely overcame the problem.Ordered at 3-15 on 23 Dec and it was delivered by 1-30 next day!

Requires USB port - no direct plug inCharging is quite slow, but it works.
