Mitchell Full Runner MX8 Baitrunner Fishing Reel – Compact Freespool Reel With Large Line Capacity & High Retrieve Speed

I decided to purchase this Mitchell MX8 9000.On getting the reel straight away it is big & although I probably would have sent it back on this reason however, it had a faulty handle so I sent it back in favour of the 5000.The reels a delight to use very smooth so I’m hoping the 5000 will be as good.Amazon were excellent in refunding & reordering the new one

Best Mitchell reel I've ever bought.built like a tank.unfortunately someone forgot to add a major part to the workings.on opening the package I found the spool only turned free wheeling.screwed clutch nob full on.nothing.deff will buy reel working.

At last mitchell has produced the ultimate barbel reel in 5000 size that's built like a tank and smooth as silk . If you've ever been pondering Mitchell's other bait runner reels in the larger 5500 size that come at half the price of this one then take it from me there's no comparison ( I have them as well ) because this reel is up there with shimano on build quality whereas the cheaper Mitchell's aren't . The one thing to note is if you do treat yourself to this reel also buy a bulk spool of your favourite line at the same time ( mines maxima chameleon 10lb/600 mtrs ) because this beaut takes an unbelievable amount to fill it's spool . Honestly if your after a top notch barbel reel this must be one of the finest reels out there and you won't regret buying this one for sure . Highly highly recommended !
