**Q: Does this work with the cousin art soft serve ice cream maker**
A: Yes

**Q: Is there a gel or liquid in the insulated walls/cavity? Or just air?**
A: There is a gel/liquid in between the walls.  I always keep my bowls in the freezer so they are ready to use when I need them.

**Q: Is the inside aluminum or stainless steel? (I have an old one from 10 years ago... Has it changed?)**
A: Appears to be aluminum.

**Q: Can you use store bought ice cream**
A: You can absolutely use a store-bought ice cream mix, either the liquid in the carton, or a mix that you add cream to.

Giving this one star because it simply should not have been sold on Amazon Australia. The paddle on the AU version does not fit in the US bowl, due to the different ring/hole shape. See photo for size comparison (US version left, AU version right).
