I am going to go ahead and give a 5 star rating for now. I just received it within the past week so it's a bit early to see if it is helping their skin and coats. The price was not bad for dry cat food and best of all it is not made with the corn meal or corn and grains that cats do not normally eat. So hopefully it is healthier for them as it should be. My cats have never been outside which is so not fair to them. But much safer for them considering where we live. I got this because it's grain free which is important for their skin and coats. They both started eating it the day I put some down for them so that is a good sign. And though they haven't had it very long yet, they seem to be itching a little less often. But were not doing so very often and not like they have in the past with other dry foods. So I am hoping this is another good sign. As of now I would recommend this. They are still eating it so that is another plus. It smells good as well and as long as they are enjoying it and not having any bad reactions, I will buy this for them again.

A friend brought over her open bag of this food for some outside kitties. But I let mine taste it. They really liked it so we switched. I had purchased an expensive grain free food that was $35 for 3# and they wouldn't eat it. The ingredients seem to be better than many other store carried pet foods. I like that Chicken is the first ingredient, not corn. I will never feed any cat (mine or feral) a food that lists corn as a first ingredient. I used to work for a pet food company and I know any "by-products" are not good ingredients. This also lists "chicken meal" which means it is actual chicken. Not "poultry meal" which can be any part of a bird, including non edible parts. I also like that it does not smell like clay or a manufactured smell. I am happy with the overall health of my girls. Their coats are very soft and shinny, they are happy eating this formula and seem to be digesting most of it. By that I mean they have smaller stool. If your pet has a large stool the. They are not digesting the food and nutrients well, it is just going thru them. The result is more clean up for you, less value for your money and your pet is not getting the nutrients they need.

I'm so happy to have found this dry grain-free chicken recipe — it's one of the very few available in stores, and they can be hard to come by. My cat has been on a grain-free diet since she was a kitten, and now, at 10 years old, she's in amazing health and not overweight at all. I truly believe her diet has played a big role in that. Please don’t ever discontinue this grain-free option — it’s been such a reliable choice for us. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to aim for more consistency in texture. Occasionally, I’ve noticed some batches are harder to chew than others. My cat definitely prefers it when the kibble is a bit softer or has a slightly more moist feel. Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the product and the price. Thank you for offering a quality grain-free food that’s keeping my cat happy and healthy!

My kitty has always been a seafood guy but I need to have a dried product for his auto feeder and he just loves this. I can put down his wet food but if the feeder happens to be going off he will switch to the dry food, which is weird because he won't eat the wet chicken food. He likes this dry formula very much.
