Smart Nutra Labs Pure Berberine HCL 1200mg Supplement - 180 Vegan Capsules

I've had high blood pressure, and have taken medication for it, for 30 years. The beta-blocker medication I've been on for the last 15 years or so has been getting progressively less effective, my blood pressure has been running high even at the maximum dose. I also have issues with lipids and blood glucose. Classic "metabolic syndrome" and pre-diabetic. After much reading and study, I decided to give Berberine a try. Yeah, it's an ancient Chinese herbal remedy, which made my initially skeptical, but in my research I discovered that Western medicine has studied it quite a bit over the last 15 years or so, and it seems to address all attributes of metabolic syndrome. It's been shown to reduce blood pressure, reduce blood glucose, reduce LDL and triglycerides, and increase HDL (the good cholesterol). I need help in all those areas! Within two days of taking this stuff, I noticed I was getting dizzy every time I got up. I checked my blood pressure and was shocked to see it at 90/60! That's borderline hypotensive. Never in my life have I seen a blood pressure that low. I immediately discontinued my beta-blocker prescription blood pressure medication, and kept using the Berberine at 600mg twice daily. My blood pressure settled at about 110/75. So basically perfect. I have yet to get a new blood test to see the effects on my lipids and glucose. I'm hopeful it's helpful on those things, too, based on the studies and clinical trials I've read. But I can say with certainty that this stuff literally fixes my hypertension. It's great to get off the prescription drug after all these years! I'm not saying it'll work for everyone, everybody reacts differently. But it worked for me. It's been a miracle drug for my blood pressure. And I've had no side effects that I can tell.

I smoke pot on the hour due to severe PTSD. The only drawback has been that I get the munchies and have gained 30 pounds medicating with marijuana. These pills are just what I needed!!! I don't know how they work, nor do I care. All I know is I have a little bit more energy and I'm eating a little bit less and it's going great! 👍🏽 Even if you don't see a difference on the scale, you will notice a difference in how your clothing is fitting you. I have a pair of sweatpants that always fit me find an after two weeks on the stuff. I now have to roll them over twice at the waist band in order for them to stay on. I tried to get on the new weight loss medication, but my insurance only covers it for people with diabetes. These pills are your next best bet. I think the chubbier you are right now the more of a difference you're gonna see. So if you're some skinny gal on here and you take these, I don't think you'll lose any weight. These are for people with a BMI of more than 29

Let me start out by saying this is a great high quality product that works! I’ve been taking it for a while now with no side effects at all which is always a bonus. The bottle quantity is great and the price is very affordable. Now for my issue. This shipment has the powder all inside the bottle which means every capsule is heavily coated in the outside which is misery because berberine is extremely bitter! I’m literally gagging swallowing them! Yes, it’s that bad! I really hope this is a random issue with this bottle or production, otherwise I will unfortunately have to switch companies.

Highly recommended by healthcare providers and I was totally skeptical of the taste, size of capsules etc. Zero powder residue on outside of capsules. These capsules aren’t any larger than an average capsule size. If anyone has issues with swallowing a larger/longer capsule or other pills a bit of applesauce helps greatly with swallowing pills easily. I didn’t have to do this. The dosage is 2 capsules in morning with meal for the 1200 mg dose. I was advised to try one capsule first to see how it went. Well, I took both and only 2 days so far. No I’ll side effects which is great. I like to nibble instead of 3 meals and this has helped me to actually not do this and eat a proper meal. If this is the most it’s going to do it’s a win for me. I’m hopeful that the benefits will be great as time will tell in about a month. Bottle has a non childproof top(screw on cap) which was fantastic as I normally have to use a hammer to crack them open! There no odd odour either from the bottle also. Another plus as I’m not too happy taking pills and any “taste/odour” makes it difficult for me to continue taking them on a daily basis.

EDIT 3/28/21: I just bought these again, and when I opened the bottle, multiple capsules had cracked enough so the yellow powder had come out, and was over all the inside of the bottle, and on the rest of them. So I lost out on a few pills because of this, and now every time I open the container, the yellow residue gets on my hand, and can be hard to wash off if not done right away. Overall they are still a good brand, but was disappointed to open the bottle with yellow powder all inside. I've been taking berberine for years but wanted to try a new brand. I found this brand helps with sugar cravings ... I still eat sugar, but hardly ever get huge sugar cravings anymore (where I'd eat a lot of junk food). And because of this, I have lost a few pounds. I have never taken a berberine supplement before that has helped with this. They are easy to swallow and are made in the USA. There are no fillers, binders, artificial ingredients, soy, dairy, or preservatives. They are also non-GMO, Gluten Free, and Vegan. I would definitely recommend this!

I’ve been taking these for 2 years. This is my 7th bottle and the product quality is not the same as all my prior orders. Pill on left is from a prior bottle, pills on right are from the latest one I just received.
