If you use it with a mild solvent like the foaming Hoppe's stuff
Does what it's supposed to do. Quickly removed fouling that nylon wouldn't touch.Remember though, you do NOT want to use brass or bronze with a strong copper solvent. Copper is the primary alloying element in both, and the leached copper will also give you a false positive on color-changing solvents as well. If you use it with a mild solvent like the foaming Hoppe's stuff, just give it a good rinse when you're done.

This works great! Hard to find in local gun stores due to it being a popular caliber. I would recommend and would buy again.

Does the job of cleaning the soot at point of separation of bullet and shell.I have only used once,so I do not know how many cleanings it has before the brushes wear out.
