Updated 25/12/21: Long-term covers hurt hands and chemical smell to the paper.
Edited 25/12/21:Did not get on with these either short/long-term:1. Chemical smell that just won't shift. Been left in the sunlight on warm days, in a window and they stll have a 'fishy' smell when used which is overpowering after a while.2. Not easy to store away due to spiral binding.3. Perforated pages are useful.4. Covers fold away underneath and don't get in way. Ok if using at a desk, but covers are too rigid and make my hands ache otherwise.5. Covers can be wiped clean. 'Peach' feel to the outside cover.5. White paper is not so easy on the eyes, prefer cream/ivory.Would not buy these again. Won't go anywhere near Oxford notebooks now as the chemical smell is too much for me.

Bigger than A4
Firstly, and nothing to do with the product. The Amazon tracking & delivery note said "product handed to customer. The product was in fact, left on the front doorstep in full view of the world passing by.The product. The hard back notebooks are neat and feel quite sturdy. The book are approximately 2.25cm wider than a sheet of A4 paper due to the binding ring and the sheets being perforated.

Good - but flawed
I like these notebooks except for one thing - the pages inside some of have a waviness as if the books have been stored somewhere damp. Not all of the but 3 out of the 2x3 books I ordered. A good product spoiled. They come shrink wrapped so it happens before this I'm guessing. Otherwise, good paper and colourful hard covers - good for colour coding although colours sent are random.

Good value and sturdy
Bought for husband; he is really pleased with them. He writes lyrics and wanted a notebook that would sit well on the music stand he uses; he was really happy with these and there is a link in the notebook to an app you can use to scan the pages if you want to store what you have written elactronically
