BLN-1 USB Dual Battery Charger Adapter for Olympus OM-D E-M1, E-M5, E-M5 Mark II, E-P5, PEN-F Digital Camera for Olympus BLN-1 Battery

I've no way of measuring how good it is for the batteries compared to a genuine Olympus charger but it's good to have and seems to work well.

Bought this charger to charge my Olympus batteries whilst travelling in my camper van and travelling abroad. Charging speed is quite low - not a great problem for me as I charged two batteries overnight ready for the next day. It's very simple to used - plug it in a usb socket - pop your batteries in - wait for the insanely flashing red LEDs to stop - leaving one solid red light- batteries are now charged. I checked and my Batteries were fully charged - matching the original Olympus mains charger. Negatives: Construction is lightweight and quite basic. Charging is quite slow I found the flashing charging lights confusing - would be better with a simple 'Charging' light and a 'Charged' Light Positives: The charger is small and lightweight, easily stored Easy to carry in a pocket/ camera bag Powered by via USB USB Cable is attached to the charger and wraps very neatly No mains socket adapters needed in foreign counties Summary A bargain - absolutely brilliant for the price - sure I'd like industrial level construction - but that would obviously cost more. It's made my travel and photography trips much easier

Cheap for a reason, it doesn't work. I left 2 batteries on charge for 24 hours and they were both still flat. Avoid.

Charges just as well as the original charger but will charge two batteries at once.

Misplaced my Olympus charger and bought this. Has a USB connector which tucks neatly into the bottom of the charger, unfortunately this means that the cord is very short and when plugged into a USB charging plug (not supplied) dangles from the wall socket. Fortunately I found my Olympus charger, however, that is the second problem, I then found that my batteries weren’t actually fully charged by this unit. Okay in an emergency, but not a substitute for the real thing.

Purchased as I had lost my original charger. It does the same thing except I can charge 2 batteries at once, which is pretty cool. It's also cool that I can now charge using my battery bank in my camera bag as I go which has been quite handy.

Non compatibile con batteria per OM-D E-M5. Una perdita di tempo.
