The pack of Heavy-Duty Scourer Pads arrived, as stated, in time. I was very pleased with the product, hence, the five star rating given,

I've bought similar ones from Amazon before, but these, although the same size, don't last very long at all. There are plenty in the pack though, so I just change them regularly. I cut them.in half before use too, as they are twice as wide as standard ones. The photo shows one before use, next to one cut in half, after a week or so's domestic use.

As supplied these scouring pads are large enough to be used on saucepans, plates and platters but, for smaller items such as cups (removing tea and coffee stains etc), or small pans they may be better cut in half - a kitchen scissors worked well on the one where this was tried. The pads are quite thick, moderately stiff but still very flexible and therefore capable of getting into the tight corners at the bottom of a saucepan. As with the sponges on which a similar, although thinner material is bonded, they are not ideal to use on non-stick pans as surface damage is likely but with stainless steel, aluminium, glass and ceramics they are ideal. They are very reusable, good for several uses each and should be rinsed out regularly to rid them of any food particles and other residues on which bacteria can grow. Otherwise, the pads could become foul-smelling but the bacteria could ultimately transfer to food! An occasional soak in very hot water will also help.
