Awesome work socks
These socks are awesome. I recently took two pairs to Europe for three weeks of work. I wore a pair every day and was able to wash (hotel sink) the other pair at night. The socks never lost their form or fit the whole time I was traveling. They are very comfortable and fit as expected. I have ordered several pairs more and have made this brand and sock type my work socks. I have several pairs of this brand that I use for hiking and have always been pleased. They did appear to be a bit expensive at first but once you wear a pair you can feel the quality and easily justify the price for one pair. I do recommend this brand and do recommend this sock for work.

Best investment I ever made - still as good as new 4 years later
I purchased these 4 years ago and they are still as good as when I bought them. The color hasn't faded and the elasticity is still there. They are machine washable and actually tolerate repeat wears between washing (for me). They are the perfect sock for business casual outfits.

My favorite pair is the “” for day to day use
I own 4 pairs of Darn tough socks. This review will be posted on all 4 explaining my thoughts on them all. My favorite pair is the “ Darn Tough Vermont Men's 1/4 Merino Wool Sock Light Cushion Athletic Socks, Black/Gray, Large ” for day to day use. These things are amazing! While they are amazing for day to day general use and I do highly recommend them I do not use them for hiking. When I am hiking (in something other than boots) I prefer the Darn Tough Vermont Men's 1/4 Merino Wool Cushion Hiking Socks, Olive, Large socks because the extra cousin comes in handy. When using boots I stick to the Darn Tough Merino Wool Micro Crew Sock Cushion,Black,Large . I have tried really thin dress socks and have not been a fan of them in any real sense. They are the lowest on the list out of the 4 I own. They are the Darn Tough Standard Issue Mid-Calf Light Socks,Black,Large

I love Darn Tuff
Hey Darn Tuff - where are the green crew socks like you used to make? Or even Tan? I can't find them, I'm looking for years now.

Not the same quality as what they used to be
I had bought several pairs of these seven years ago in January 2016. I wear them every day. Each pair has been worn and probably washed hundreds of times. Amazingly, the ones from seven years ago look brand new - which is what I expected for the price and their guarantee. The new ones I bought in 2023 are different, yet Amazon/this seller says they are the same. They’re not. They cost more now, of course. Inflation…, I get that. But they are clearly a cheaper quality and many other details are different. After one wash, the new ones are all fuzzy. Fuzzy like a cheap pair of socks that I’d pay $3/pair for. But I paid 8x more than that for these. Something doesn’t feel right. They’re going back.

End the tyranny of the Christmas sock drawer
These socks helped me simplify my mess of a sock drawer. I had too many and too much variety thanks to years of receiving socks for Christmas. I transitioned from several dozen pairs to six pairs of the black and four pairs of the blue and my mornings and laundry got a lot easier. They may seem expensive at first but after 18 months these guys are not showing any signs of wear. Also, it's no longer a struggle to match socks as these are easy to tell apart compared to some others I've had. Others have mentioned that they can be a little warm if you live in warm climates. It gets stinkin' hot where I live but I have no problem wearing these socks in the summer. My feet are going to sweat no matter what socks I wear. It's more of a question of how the socks handle the moisture. I find that these do a better job than socks I previously used. I can sweat in them and they don't feel or smell too funky. I've read that you can get away with wearing these multiple days without washing them. I decided to test this when I first got them and wore a pair two days in a row, airing them out at night. I was surprised that there was no odor. However, towards the end of the second day they did start to feel a little funky. Since then, I've washed them with every wear but I would be comfortable going a couple days with one pair if I had to. They're really handy on business trips. You can wear them with your business attire during the day and with your jeans at night. No more Christmas socks for me... unless they're some of these.

The cuff fits snugly against my leg but never leaves marks like cheaper socks and
I've been wearing these once a week for the last six months. What amazes me is that they feel completely new every time they come out of the wash. It is, frankly, extraordinary. The cuff fits snugly against my leg but never leaves marks like cheaper socks and, even in the sweltering heat of the UK summer of 2018, they regulated the temperature of my feet and didn't leave lint on them when I remove them after wearing them for 13 or 14 hours. I haven't had the opportunity to test the return policy although I don't envisage that I'll need to but try not to be put off by the price. These are genuinely amazing.

Need a Sock that Lasts
We really get fed-up with socks - you pay ten dollars or more for a pair of socks, wear them a few times and they get holes in them! We are hoping these socks will give better value for our money. My husband is finding that he can't pull the socks right up - they are too tight around the calf then...... But the foot part fits (XL size - he wears a size 13, wider width shoe)
