They are very pretty but I did have to tighten to stop them swinging round. More suitable for a second set of earrings further up the ear than in the lobe itself.

These earrings are the prettiest earrings I’ve ever owned. I’m allergic to almost everything, and even solid 22ct gold earrings can irritate me. These earrings don’t irritate me one bit, in fact they’re the first earrings I can sleep in.They’re extremely solid and well made, and the earring ‘back’ is a good size, that stays firm and steady in your ear. The earring stays ‘climbing’ and doesn’t drop.They come with a little grey velvet pouch, with “Philip Jones Jewellery" written on it, to protect them in your jewellery box, or present them as a gift. I bought 2 pairs as I’m forever losing earrings, and would be sad if I lost one of these as they most definitely are my favourite.
