Works well!
My Honda Element (K24 engine) owner's manual calls for liquid gasketmaker to be applied to the oil pan, but I decided to install this product and it works perfectly. 2500 miles down the road, no problems.

Fel-Pro says it all.
This fit perfectly (of course). I always use Fel-Pro gaskets when I can get them. The installation was NOT the fault of the gasket. EVERY hole lined up and the gasket gave perfect coverage. The ease of installation (or lack thereof) is clearly a fault of Honda Motors. This gasket was for a 2005 Honda Accord. Ask anyone how hard it is to get the pan out and in one of these cars and you will understand.

Exactly what we needed to replace the oil pan on an 05 Honda CR-V
We just replaced the oil pan on our 05 Honda CR-V this weekend. I would suggest having some type of seal cutter when doing this. We did not have one and my fiance was quite determined to do it without having to go to the store so we used a hive tool for a bee hive. It is now being referred to as a "seal cutter" instead of a "hive tool". In any case this is exactly what we needed to replace the oil pan. We did use gasket sealer (I believe) and so far have had zero oil leaks. The original pan apparently took a pretty hard hit from, I am assuming, a rock off of the road and had a tiny little pin hole in it that couldn't be sealed. This could have been a 1 man job, but I wouldn't recommend it. My fiance had a young guy who wants to learn come assist him and he was a huge help. Additionally the original gasket on the oil pan wasn't a foam gasket, it appears to have been a liquid gasket which may have been part of the trouble getting it off. Just be careful not to get too rough with it and mess anything else up on the engine while trying to get the gasket to release the oil pan. Additionally we didn't tighten the bolts down to the 8.7 ft/lb of torque it said. We went with 8 because 8.7 was pushing the gasket out of the side of the oil pan and engine seal.

Almost perfect
The gasket seems to be just fine The only thing is is they forgot to punch out the hole where the centering pin is on the pan. You can't put the gasket on without cutting this hole out of the gasket by hand. Kind of lame and it defeats the purpose of paying for a discount item when you have to put in work to make it work. This is not just a drop on item it needs modification to work.

Fits '04 CRV perfectly
Fits 2004 Honda crv perfectly for anyone wondering. It's a pain in the booty to install but I'm a mom of 2 on a budget who learns as I go and uses YouTube to save money every chance I get. Mechanic wanted $1100 to install it (Hawaii prices) so my little brother and I did it ourselves and my neighbor helped tighten to torque... So approx. 4 hours, and about $50 later (including this product, new oil, gasket maker and the dessert I baked my neighbor to say thank you) and voila no more leaks! Saved me $1050! So this bad boy gets 5 stars from me!

Make sure everything is clean.. I mean clean clean
Not a bad product. It's not a rubber gasket, it's more like a material gasket.I put my black gasket maker on the oil pan, then places this on top of it, then put it back on and tightened the bolts just enough to not break the gasket.Looks good so far. I mean, it's a gasket. If it don't work, it's probably the users fault and not the product.

Paper gasket was no good
When the shop went to install the gasket after replacing my oil pan, it tore! They had to make a sealed gasket.

Definitely a Fel-Pro worked for me
Used it to seal a new oil pan I replaced my cracked one with on a 2008 Honda CR-V, the seal went right into place no problem and sealed with no Leakage. If you want to be sure your not going to have a leak use gasket maker additionally with the seal and it will give you extra insurance.
