Yankee candles have long been my go-to. Thankfully, these candles have evolved beyond their initial scents of baked desserts! This one is subtle but has a good scent throw, makes the home smell fresh. Great quality and burns evenly as long as you follow directions. I use a wick trimmer and a longer lighter and have no problems. Jar has never overheated not broken while burning but I do set a reminder and limit burn time as advised. This jar usually lasts well past 2 months, is easy to use, will not burn so quickly that candle is gone the first week. Very good function from a reputable company.

Got this size for a great price at Christmas. Packaged nicely and you know it smells good. Yankee candles are the best.

This candle is absolutely beautiful, and the rose scent is fresh and natural. The size is generous, and the burn time is excellent, lasting up to 150 hours, which makes it great value for money. It fills the room nicely without being too strong. The glass jar looks elegant and adds to the beauty, though it does feel a little fragile, so I handle it carefully to avoid breaking. Overall, the quality, size, and long burn time make this one of my favorite candles to keep at home or give as a gift.

I love this scent combination. The addition of the lemon to the lavender is just the right note to take plain lavender up a notch and make it special. The scent is so soothing yet refreshing and every time someone walks into my office they comment on how lovely it smells. Recommend purchasing.

Lavender is my favorite scent and Yankee really got it right. I usually buy the cheap Walmart ones and I can burn thru one every week or two. This Yankee candle burns twice as long, definitely worth the money. I just wish the lavender one was a little stronger of a scent. I got my Dad the black Midnight one and it's a lot more powerful. In a good way! So I guess it just depends which one you get. Glass is sturdy. I always put my candles on something that won't melt, because they do get hot towards the end of the candles life. 4 stars because I wanted a yellow Autumn Wreath for my Mom's present and got brown. Still smells great, tho. Yankee, please make the lavender stronger! I'd also love one with ylang ylang <3

Nice scent the dried lavender better than the plain lavender. A scent permeating candle and as usual I find that I cannot burden these candles all day and get the smell, unfortunately I don’t know why. A candle customer for decades my habit of burning all day resulted in scent now not 4 plus hours than blow it out…..

This is a beautiful candle that smells amazing. It actually fills the room with a light lavender scent. It’s gorgeous not overwhelming at all. I get so many compliments on it plus, I’m a smoker while trying to quit but still a smoker and you cannot even smell smoke in my apartment. Also very sensitive to sense being overwhelming and family members that are as well and this does not bother any of us. I happen to love the scent of lilacs. The flowers and their scent (along with lillies of the valley) are the epitome of springtime and the month of May for me, as my Mother's birthday was in May and rarely did a year go by without this one relative bringing her a big bouquet of freshly cut lilacs she had cut from the lilac bushes growing on her property. My sister and I would pick lillies of the valley, since they bloomed at the same time, but safely at ground level so it was something we could manage. This Yankee Candle Company's lilac candle smells so similar to a lilac bloom it really is quite amazing for me to realize it is actually a candle emitting the scent I smell now when using it and not an actual lilac flower in a bouquet sitting on a table someplace back in time in mid May. I love it. The lilac scent from this candle is really quite strong in its intensity, as lilacs are known to be. Since this candle came in a large styled mason jar with removable lid, I can just remove the lid and not even burn the candle to get a whiff of the scent. Actually burning the candle gives you even a stronger scent. The pastel purple coloring of the wax used is pretty to see, and perfect for a lilac scented candle. I happen to like the larger sized candles in the mason jar made by Yankee Candle Company more than their smaller sized candles. While heavier and larger than their other candles, the lid fits tightly on its top when not burning the candle, helping to preserve the scent of the candle for a longer period of time, as well as keeping the candle free from dust etc, if you want to store the candle away for a time. The mason jars look good sitting out on a counter or table. Candles made in them are harder to light however after they have burned down lower in the jar, as you either need a long match, a piece of spaghetti, or else a lighter that can reach the wick when you want to burn the candle. I am not sure if the wax is of soy or from petroleum, as soy is considered cleaner overall for the environment when you burn a candle, that according to those who should actually know will say, but this candle burns well and is one of my favorite scented candles I have tried, and so I will purchase this again in the future, rather than trying another. Personally, I prefer the scented candle better than the actual lilac bush which I had planted in the yard at one time, as the candle is easier to maintain and smells just as good as the real bush. This candle was a win-win for me on all accounts and I highly recommend it if you love the scent of lilacs and wish you could smell their blooms year round.
