Narrative Inquiry: Experience and Story in Qualitative Research

Accessible content
I've come to realise that I will never be an academic. Nevertheless, I needed to submit an academic research project in order to gain my master's degree. Having settled on the narrative approach, I cast around for material that would be helpful. Of all the books I read, this was the most digestible. I was actually able to *read* it, as opposed to wading through it. I found myself nodding in agreement over and over again, and adding post-it bookmarks to so many pages that the book wound up looking like a neon coloured hedgehog. Gets my vote!

Best book on Narrative!
I am writing my dissertation at the moment using Narrative Inquiry/Analysis. I read a lot of other books before this one and still could not put my finger on how to go about my research - that is until I read this one!Clandinin and Connelly bring to life the Narrative approach and I am very excited now about doing my research!
