AquaLife UK 2x Great Pond Snail Eats Algae Fresh Cold & Tropical Aquarium (Lymnaea Stagnalis)

UPDATE: So as stated, I received 3 snails which was a bonus. I checked the pond yesterday and found at least 10 snails, all quite large (about the size of a regular garden snail). They seem to be happy and feeding on what algae is left! Pond is still clear, even after all the heavy rain that's disrupted the bottom of the pond. Highly recommend these snails!3 snails arrived in their little plastic tub. I've never bought live animals through the post so this was a first for me. They didn't seem to be alive as they weren't moving at all. I put them inside a Tupperware container whilst still inside their transport tub (I removed the lid of course) and added a little of the pond water, left them floating on the surface of the water for most of the day, slowly adding more water and they seemed to start moving around more.I added more water and some pond plants so they could eat/crawl onto them, and before I went to bed I submerged one side of the container underwater. By the morning they had all crawled out and were just under the water on opposite sides of the pond.A couple of months down the line the pond looks clearer, so it seems to me that they've been working wonders! Would definitely recommend and will possibly buy more for our other pond, unless they've been breeding, then I'll transfer some over!(Our pond is quite small, around 3ftx1ft)

Arrived safely next day in their little pot with moist cotton pad and lettuce. We received 3, 2 pretty large ones (larger than 20mm) and a smaller one. Unfortunately the smaller one was unresponsive initially but seemed to come round after a few hours, he has since died after a few days in the pond but wouldn't be knocking any stars off for that as he was a bonus snail! The other two are thriving along with 6 Great Ramshorns I purchased from my local aquatics centre. The photos provided are after all snails were in the pond for 3 days and you can clearly see the difference! My pond is only small just a few feet across and not very deep but they are thriving and have already laid eggs on the underside of my fake water lily pad. Would definitely purchase again if needed but I doubt il need to at the rate they are laying !

The Snails came quick and were well packaged. I received three in total I did think two were a little smaller than expected.

Arrived on time. They were all alive and moving. Put her in the pond as per instructions and they are all well and my pond has no algae. They are growing too!!

I received 3 of these guys in the post, all riddled with parasite bore holes. One of them died 3 days later. And yes, they were correctly acclimatised to their new tank. I don't recommend buying these.

Dear seller, I was quite anxious about getting lifestock thru the post. I researched what I needed to do with the snails when they arrived, but was still disappointed not to find instructions in the letter nor any contact details. One snail looked happy and acclimatised well the other one not so much. I kept the ‚weaker‘ one out for longer with some water from the aquarium and placed it into the tank when I saw her ‚happily‘ moving around. Two days later she is dead. There seems no easy way to contact the seller (am stuck in some AI solution by Amazon) so instruction and an email address from seller with the delivery would be nice . I don’t know why they wanted me to comment on thickness!

They arrived promptly (ahead of stated date) in good health. Came in a small plastic tub (smaller than the one shown) with a cotton pad to hold moisture and some lettuce. Different sizes, but not an issue. Acclimatised them to the pond water in a larger tub and fed them some lettuce. A day later we put them into the pond and off they went. A month later we have 2 happy, healthy munching machines.

Acheté pour nettoyer un petit bassin avec 2 poissons très contente de ces p'tites bêtes. Livraison très rapide. Plus d'escargots que prévu, ils nettoient bien le bassin et en plus ils sont mignons à observer. Je recommande vivement.

Je ne sais pas encore s'ils sont efficaces étant donné que je ne les vois pas dans mon bassin. On verra par la suite.

J'ai reçu deux petits escargots 'chapeaux pointus' ne correspondant en rien à la description, plus un autre en forme de spirale ; tous morts. Aucune réponse à ma réclamation
