Fun, insightful collection of stories for dads...and moms
I recommend Clint's humorous collection of stories to fathers (and dads-to-be), and also to moms who want to better understand their partners. Edwards spills his thoughts and heart onto the pages - and while he's funny, what's more impressive to me is his authenticity and vulnerability. To his credit (and his family's), he gives you an unfiltered look into the joy and madness of raising young children. As the dad of a 3 year-old and newborn, I nodded and laughed along with the author, remembering experiences and anticipating those to come. On many occasions I'd read passages aloud to my wife who responded often with "See?" "I'm not the only one" and knowing smirks and eye rolls. And while Clint's kids are often at the center of the craziness, it's his interactions with his wife, Mel, that took center stage for me and provided the most meaningful and thought-provoking anecdotes. The author's experiences made me reflect on my own marriage - its evolution as my wife and I became parents, and how we can work together to (to paraphrase Edwards) change and grow together rather than grow apart. Also - PEOPLE, it's $2.99 on Kindle! Just get it! You'll be a better dad, mom, husband or wife after reading this book.

Great Gift for New Parents
My daughter, who is a new mom, asked me to buy her this book. She passed it on to me, and I also enjoyed it. The writer is humorous, and he covers many of the occurrences that happen in a young family, and with the laughter comes a sense of "Phew! I thought I was the only one that was worrying about that. I feel better now!" As a former librarian, I would have to say he is probably not the most accomplished writer, and the proofreading could have been better - but it was an enjoyable read, and a great gift to give to a new mother or father. In fact, I wish my son-in-law had read it since there are several chapters where the author acknowledges his appreciation for what his wife does to support him and their children.

Great Writing and A Good Laugh
I haven't finished this book yet, but whenever I read it I have the hardest time putting it down. I just love how honest Clint is about the good, the bad, and the ugly. It's so relatable to anyone who has kids or has babysat kids or has spent even just five minutes with kids. This book gets down to the nitty gritty and shows that having a baby (or three) is not all baby smiles and giggles. Clint shows that both parenthood and marriage take work but as long as both partners are willing to come together as a team, then there is so much joy to be found in both. His writing is clever, descriptive and his stories had me laughing so much! If you just need some encouragement to know you're not alone or just want a good laugh, or some adore on how to deal with certain situations (or how not to deal with them), this book is for you!

Keeping it real
I love this author's Instagram and read his posts religiously. They are honest and enlightening. They are also a bit more censored...I was a little surprised at the profanity but the book. There isn't profanity in Insta. Still a great read and I guess the best way to keep it real.

Made me snort with laughter. Cleverly written tales of parental woe.
Sometimes a little slow, but Edwards absolutely cracks me up at some parts of the book. I swear I have a solid 1/4 of the book highlighted for the witticisms that made me snort involuntarily. Cleverly written. I bought simply as something to entertain myself as I'm nowhere near close to wanting to have kids, but after reading his (mis)adventures, I'm absolutely terrified of them! (Just kidding, but his tales of woe are pretty hilarious. My mom identified strongly with his struggles.)

Funny, dialogue opener
I loved this book! It was so great to read life from a Dad's point of view. Early on, Clint and his wife switch roles, and while I laughed (a lot), I also found myself discussing it with my husband and crying when he told me how much he appreciates what I do for our family. It was so neat to have a book open a dialogue like that. I read parts aloud to my non reader husband, and he actually asked to read any other funny parts I stumbled across. I highly recommend this book (but be warned you'll find yourself staying up late to read!)

Right on the spot.
This man. This Clint Edwards was right on every subject he wrote about. At times I found myself laughing hysterically and other times I stopped and remembered similar instances in my own life with my now grown children that I had forgotten about. I have downloaded two more of his books and look forward to reading them and laughing my butt off.

Funny, lovely,
This book is hilarious! I really thought that at my age I was past all of this baby business but as I started to read Clint's book about his lovely family I found myself remembering things from my now grown children's childhood. Clint's book is plucking those memories right out of my head and I am having a blast remembering them. If you feel beaten down from the thankless life of rearing children then you need to read this book it will put a big smile on your face and you won't feel like you're in this alone anymore. It's funny!

Dull
I read a lot and follow a lot of parenting blogs and liked the idea of this book (and the title). Unfortunately it is dull, dull, dull. A collection of essays where Clint realises his wife's value, teaches the kids (in a non-humorous way) to tidy up and has a 3rd baby. They take every day non-situations and make a big deal of them. Unfortunately the best part of this book is the title, which feels very misleading as it suggests the book is going to be humours and it just isn't.I hate writing bad reviews, as I would much rather enjoy the book but I honestly feel that my money was wasted on this book and struggled through around 2/3rds of it before realising life is just too short and giving it up to spend time with my kids.

Worth every penny
I've been following this guy on Facebook for a while and have wanted to read this for ages. My baby is now sleeping enough that my wife and I can read this together in the evening and it's brilliant!

I appreciate the honesty of the author.I personally haven't found it revealing but it feels good to see you're not the only one.
