I love these almond slices. I use them to make a almond drop by using them with chocolate. My customers love the almond drops and I keep getting repeat orders. This were incredibly fresh tasting sliced almonds. The bag has a zip seal closure after opening, so I simply reclose it and store the bag in the freezer. The reason I purchased such a large bag is that almond prices keep going up and up. Since I use sliced almonds pretty regularly, at the time I ordered these this product was about a dollar a pound cheaper than I could get almonds at my local discount store. So check the per pound price and if these are still that economical consider getting them the next time you need almonds.

Great product but short shelf life. Just received my order Feb 18, 2018, and these expire in September, same year. Maybe the fact they're sliced affects shelf life? I purchased a 3 lb bag of whole raw almonds at the same time but from another merchant, and their shelf life is through April of 2019. And, yes, I know, keep in fridge or freezer, but 6 months is not typical; online sources state 18 months is more of the average.

Wonderful nuts. This is a big bag, but I was buying smaller bags of sliced almonds and going through them so quickly, I decided this was a better idea. I store the big bag in the refrigerator (if I had a big freezer, I would keep it in there) and put some in a smaller bag for daily use. I use them in yogurt, cereal, salads, and ice cream, and also for snacking. The bag itself is quite sturdy, so it should hold up.

I do a LOT of home baking, plus the fact that I love almonds. So when I saw these for sale, I just had to try them. Well, they are excellent: a large amount of almonds for a decent price. They have always been fresh, and I keep them in the freezer, right in the protective bag they come in, so I always have them on hand for baking, snacking, or whatever. I highly recommend this product!

These raw sliced almonds taste great. They are really good tossed into your favorite hot cereal or just snacking. I like to mix them with walnuts, pine nuts, brazil nuts and raw cashews as a snack at work that I don't feel guilty over later. Quality energy as opposed to a quick sugar fix from the vending machine or some overpriced burnt coffee. I've bought quite a few different things from the Sincerely Nuts brand and have not been disappointed.
