I started using them in lap swimming after a few warm-up laps. I immediately started swimming more efficiently, getting a higher speed with less effort per lap. Once I took them off for cool down laps, I was surprised at how quickly I was feeling that swimming without the webbed flippers was the un-natural state. Some people mentioned the flippers are hard to put on. I have had a bit of an issue with the long fingers getting stuck in the narrow openings. I found that putting the thumb in last makes the process easier.

Size runs a bit small. My glove size ranges from small to medium, but I use the large hand fins. The thumb fits snugly, but the fingers are a bit loose. In fact, it's a perfect fit, until the cold water shrinks my hand size, then it becomes slightly loose, but the medium size is uncomfortably tight and tough to put on. Also, some of the finger spacing is off. Finally, the finger holes are tighter near the hand webbing and looser near the fingertips. I have very normal shaped hands, so in my opinion the design is slightly off. On the good side, the material is a good selection, and it works well. I've run some laps and time and I'd say you can expect a speed/efficiency improvement of around 6-10%

Not the easiest to get on, but they were fun to swim with. Put them on with dry hands! Don’t pull on by the lipped edge, (you’ll see what I mean) otherwise they might tear. Both of our pairs did . They’re still usable.

Thought I would try these for surfing as they seemed light and cheap. They are difficult to put on, and I don't find them doing all that much.

I am an animal surfing with these. They are great. They add so much power to my swimming. And if they tear from your surf board or something a simple fix of a little silicone and they are as good as new. Down here in Mexico everybody asks me where I got them. All the surf shops wish they had them to sell. But just order them from amazon and you are golden! If you surf you've got to try these. On really big waves they can slip off but I put a little surf wax on my thumb and pinky finger and it does the trick. Even in four meter swell they will stay on that way. Love them!

I was super stoked on these but they ripped before I could even try them out while surfing :( for the 2 minutes I had them on they felt cool but cut off my circulation pretty easily. Although, they have to be tight or they will fall off because of the silicon. You have to get them wet to put them on and they were pretty hard to get off. Doesn’t seem like they can hold much tension really, cause mine ripped while taking them off and I wasn’t being very aggressive when taking them off. I’m sad. I was hoping these would be as cool as they looked. I’m giving two stars cause I never actually got to test them out in the ocean and they were cheap.

It is tiring to keep your fingers spread so hard, to keep the tension. It did give me more power in the swim stroke, but my fingers were very tired. One band tore before it got on since it is so difficult to pull on. Very snug and the more fingers you get in there, the harder it is to get the next fingers in! Maybe there is a trick that I don't know about. I plan to use these for safety when in the ocean, for more power in case of a current.

I thought they worked wonderfully. They do slide down a bit but other than that, they’re pretty cool.

I like the idea of the product but the thumb broke off of them while trying to put them on. I haven’t even used them yet and they are broken.

I received very quickly and it seems more tough that i wrote. I will use it in february but i tried it just to be sure its gonna fit on my finger and medium size is perfect for adult women. Nothing broke when i tried it 🙂 I can’t wait to use it in the ocean!
